Maybe it's just me but I have no clue what a "wet specimen" is.

You need to provide more detail if you want a correct answer.

There may be a lot of issues with something like that especially if you want to export to other countries. Are you looking to sell seedlings that have already sprouted? More info would be helpful. Honestly, I wouldn't do it... sounds like it could be a little messy and problems would arise no doubt in my mind. I would rethink the no returns policy as well because No returns does not mean no refunds. As far as your butterflies and other bug specimens, I don't think customs would allow it. You may want to look it up on this link eBay provides or google US customs & what is and isn't allowed:
Good luck to you

It depends on the specimen, snd the liquid used for conservation/suspension/preservation of it.
As other posters mentioned, there are also US and international laws that are applicable for shipping wet specimen.
I could not find any eBay policy specifically discussing the topic, but below are links to the most closely related. I’d recommend doing the homework and proceeding cautiously. Best of luck.

Thank you,
All my specimens are all within policy.
They come from a lab that works with teaching dissections and nothing is endangered /protected under law
As far as the alcohol it can be removed before shipping item.
I did change my return policy and took that advice.

You won't believe this but the very first thing I sold here (2018) was a fully-formed newborn piglet with one eye and two snouts (the second one was elongated and on the forehead above the eye, looked kind of like a mix between an elephant's trunk and a man's ... anatomy). He was HIDEOUS, truly horrifying, but I kinda loved him and had him several years. I photographed him out of the jar with gloves, and got $625 for him from a sweet Chinese man in New York who collected (specifically) deformed piglet wet specimens. I shipped 'Cy' double-bagged with just enough fresh alcohol to keep him damp. The man sent me a photo of him in his new jar -a really ornate Victorian looking one, on a shelf with his other little freaky floaters. It remains one of my happiest sales to date.
Then I proceeded to sell the rest of my wet specimen collection, a whole variety of critters. -Be sure to check the prohibitions regarding animals and animal parts. I apparently lucked out in that my toy poodle didn't get reported for the "no dog parts" prohibition, of which I was unaware at the time.
