No, you cannot sell anything "Fake" on ebay.

Re: problem sold item

NO

You can't sell anything counterfeit even if you disclose that it is fake.

That said, often buyers will claim this to get free items.. IDK if that's true in your case but it happens and frequently..

Re: problem sold item

If you put in the ebay search engine fake pokemon cards, many results come out

They might but they are violating the policy and will eventually be caught.

Your cards may not even be fake- perhaps you can have somebody, a local shop look at them?

I wouldn't risk my account selling fake goods- it doesn't just violate eBay's policies, it violates federal law.

Sorry.

Re: problem sold item

I bought the cards in a garage sale
I don't know anything about pokemon cards and I put them up for sale
I returned the money and canceled a lot that I had for sale
I give you the link and tell me if you know of those letters if they are fakes or not

Customer service isn't going to be able to do anything.  You need to do due diligence with things like this.  You made a good start in canceling the lot you had up until you find out.

I had my son come look, he's been into Pokemon since it started WAY back..

Everything in these photos says genuine..

They are a recent generation of cards from 2014- they have ALL the genuine hallmarks and...

Some of those cards are valuable but there are a lot of them that would not be worth making fakes as they're not worth hardly anything.

Sadly, your buyer scared you into refunding. Cards are a HIGH Risk scam item.

You should have told them to "RETURN FOR REFUND"  and let eBay issue a return label.

There is nothing wrong with those cards- I'm sorry, you've ben had and there's no recourse at this point.

If you have more cards, take them to a local card shop and they will buy them outright.

OR if you sell them here- and a buyer makes claims again, have them open a case, return them via the case and refund once you get the cards back.

For this buyer, it's done & dusted..

Those cards are fine- and if anyone else made a claim, you just tell them to return for refund.

As long as you allow buyer to return if they make an INAD claim, you did your part as a seller.

That said; Look online or in the phone book, find a local card shop for MAGIC The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh, you can take the cards in there and they will probably buy them ALL in bulk to resell, if you're concerned about selling them here.

Your buyer wanted free cards, they scared you and got what they wanted.

Those cards are NOT fake.

You ran into that One Buyer.

Stand beyond your items - if they claim they're fake just have them return.  Make sure you follow @pikabo-icu  advice and get them checked out, and do some research on them, too.

I always feel stating that you know nothing about the item in a listing welcomes those that will take advantage of that disclosure.
