Same here. I've used the USPS, as my only shipper, for decades with the business shipments and I think that the only missing items I had disappeared from my own mailbox, when a pick up person took them all. If that % is true, I guess we can consider ourselves lucky.

Just be glad you're not related to this person. I can just see Thanksgiving dinner: "Bottom feeder trash hillbilly filth!!!! This gravy has lumps in it!"

Me too! over years shipping USPS I had to file 5 claims as the shipper during 20 + years commercial shipping. That being said I have noticed the USPS has had increase of issues since early 2020 under Dejoy's with in the last too years with unexplained delays at their Very's sorting centers . I have had interesting phone call with the U.S. Customs public relations supervisor regarding USPS pissing them off over blaming them in the tracking for delays ,when it wasn't true .

There are definitely plenty of spots in the country that have major problems. Some of mine have gotten hung up there, or even at the HUB. 2020 was pretty unprecedented as fair as mail orders were thou. I think we have to give them a pass for that year. I think that was the Christmas that I had 14 cases open, but all of them were resolved. Fingers crossed it continues for both of us!

Can't say I agree with how the seller is portraying themselves in response to the feedback but I get it. If I could go brick and mortar for what I sell I would. I prefer dealing with issues face to face. People tend to be a bit more respectful when discussing things in person.
People's opinions on and of this site can greatly differ with a major player being what they sell. Selling parts you can deal with some of the most clueless people ever and to top it off ebay removing what little say you have in how to run your business and deal with your customers certainly doesn't help. The customer is always right mantra has definitely been taken too far.
And in response to the OP, one main reason ebay is losing buyer's is how difficult it is to search for items you're looking for. At least that is what people that I talk to about it say, which I agree.

I would never buy from him. I always check feedback and especially the seller's reaction. If the reaction is reasonable or else positive, I will buy from a seller with less than 100% positive. But this one goes on my best buddies list too.
Just look at his response to his last neg feedback. Amazing, unbelievable. OMG

well that is the all time worst seller I have ever seen. Should be banned from Ebay. He sells some some pretty nasty stickers.. low class.

so why isn't ebay banning this seller for this abuse?

Likely because they make ebay more money than they think they cost them. I really don't have a major issue with them being allowed to sell. Let the buyers decide by reading the seller's own words if they want to buy from them or not. If it were one or two lapses of judgement I wouldn't hold it against them as a buyer but to see the number of comments like that I also wouldn't choose to buy from them, other's obviously are easier to look the other way.

I agree , keeping finger's crossed for both of us. .

Are you referring to the OP or the seller the OP has issues with?
10-11-2024 10:15 AM
You took the word's out of mouth. That seller OP posted about is very small part of buyer drop off . The problem is the search for items system and search filters in the seller's stores that keep dropping off .

Yeap ! that seller is a cash cow for them . Sad thing is these rude seller's give the rest US seller black eye to those buyers .
