I don't care for the 'rate the product' nonsense. I'm leaving feedback for how the seller handled the transaction. The 'product' could turn into a total POS down the road, through no fault of the seller.

I don't pay that much attention to the feedback page. My feedback to buyers is automated, I give sellers feedback through my purchase history.
So, whatever eBay does with that page they can have at it, makes no difference to me. But I will rejoice if they ever do away with feedback altogether.

There are quite a few negative comments from both buyers and sellers on the new format.
Many hate that a product review is necessary for new items and many dislike that feedback is show in 'relevant' order rather than in most recent order. I have to agree in both cases.
You didn't say what you think of it.

I think this is better because you don't see the neutrals and negatives in the foreground.

"You didn't say what you think of it."
The OP's opinion on this matter is completely voluntary.

I have not looked at the feedback section much since the June 2024 changes. I just looked today and the September 2024 changes are even worst. Personally I think ebay should make it so you cannot leave feedback for a sale and only buyers can leave feedback. For now I'm only leaving feedback for my sales when a buyer sends me a message asking for feedback.
