Well, for example the title:
is 78 characters. Or do you not understand that even a blank space is counted as a character.

drop the commas and periods. they don't search, and motorcycle can be one word

Get rid of the commas and periods.
Most of your titles have 70 or more characters.....spaces count as a character.

Because we do get 80 characters in the title. That would be why everyone says this.
The title is the most important advertising space we have. Wasting space with things like low price, never used, free shipping and things like that is simply a waste of very valuable space. What you should be putting in the title are words that a buyer might be searching by to find the item you are selling. Try not to repeat words in the title, some search engines like Google, don't like that. And Google brings in a lot of our traffic, so it is important.
Your titles could be improved upon. Everything is lower case. Start off the title with the three most important words to what you are selling. You can use all caps on up to 3 words. That is my personal rule. That did come from Google preferences years ago but I just stuck with it. Your title should be an easy read. Capitalizing the first letter in important words will help.

I'll help you with one of your titles and listings @jays-stuff75 .
Current: Apron ,New York City Map med. landmarks 4 pockets, protector kitchen collector
Suggested: New York City Subway Map Kitchen Apron NYC
As far as I can see, there are no pockets (or wooden spoons as mentioned in listing). The brand is not "new york". It should be listed as "Unbranded" if there's no brand tag. Your listing should have basic length and width measurements.
Is it actually "new without tags" as listed? The way the neck strap is tied, it appears preowned. You would know best since it's your product, but as a buyer I'd be skeptical.

When I see tittles (sic) with commas in the wrong place and bad spacing I tend to think that reflects the abilities of the seller and move on.

When I first saw this, I thought it said, "making...." Oh, never mind.

@deltilogical I am not sure why it was necessary to make this comment as it certainly wasn't helpful to the OP. This person was seeking help and if you don't want to provide advice, you did not have to announce that to the forum.

While I would not have phrased that advice in the same way as deltilogical, I do think it's helpful to let a seller know that grammar cleanup can have a big impact on both buyers' first impressions and search pulling in the seller's listings, and that some buyers are turned off by the way the seller's titles are crafted. Listing presentation is important - everything from titles to description to specifics to photos. A well crafted listing lets buyers know the seller cares about describing the item well, and delivering it to the buyer as advertised. YMMV.

Me too. Made me take a serious second look.

Hi Jay,
It would be helpful for your sales if you redid your titles as most people have suggested. While you're at it, check your spelling and pictures. You can crop the pictures with eBay photo editor and people will get a closer, better view of your items.
It is time consuming to go through all your listings and revise them, but really, it will be worth it!
Good luck.

@wastingtime101 Thank you-I can see now I misinterpreted what deltilogical said. Your explanation provided more useful detail for the OP.
