I'm trying to list an item for sale via the app, when I click on the list an item, I get a far as adding sections in the description, then I get the message 'we are directing you to our mobile website (or words to that effect) but it just returns to the start of the listing page again, just goes round in circles listing' page just refreshes the page and won't bring me to the next stage. I'm not getting any error messaages.
Tried different browsers and different devices, also tried listing through chrome still the same issue.

It has been a long time since you have sold. Is your account updated and registered for Managed Payments?

I put a listing on maybe a month or so back, no issues then.

it appears to be subject sensitive, the listing was for a motorcycle no joy, if I type in dog for example, and select dog bed it works, try either car or motorcycle related, I get the same message ,of being directed to the mobile website site, but nothing happens.

Were you asked to register for MP back when you were able to list the other listing? Or were you suppose to after that time?
Have you registered and been approved for MP? That may be the easier question to ask. If you haven't, that is likely your issue.

Makes sense, I did go through some of the registration details when payment methods were changed quite a while back, when I put up the last lising a month or so back, I had to complete / register bank details, I was supposed to receive some form of confirmation, but I don't recall receiving any, I also ended the previous listing before there were any bids on it, so it never got to payment stage.

I'm no selling expert but all looks OK with my account, shows as active not being prompted to add or edit any payment details etc.
I'll trying making a listing on the laptop to see if that makes any difference, thanks.

Have you checked your Selling Hub? You should if you haven't. And see if you have the Payment tab. If you do, check the Summary page.

I have searched under selling hub, no joy can't find anything that helps, don't see a payment tab on there, it used to be pretty simple to put up a listing, now you need a degree in Ebay.

Then you have NOT registered for MP and it is likely that you need to.

I do remember going through setting up as a seller, I have just used your link and I get the below message, about international payments , does this need to be addressed, thanks.
"Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information"

I have just had a friend try to list a motorbike (he sells dozens of items a week) he had the same issue, it is related to motor vehicles or the likes of, no matter which avenue he tried, it comes back to "to complete your listing we are directing you to our mobile website" all it does is take you back to the listing t page, (round in circles)
What is the difference between listing a motorcycle or a cuddly toy, the later can be done. Do you have to be set up to list motors vehicles etc. Thanks

Thanks @mam98031! I know the motors app can only be used for buying right now. You should be able to list on the mobile web browser but it sounds like that keeps routing them back to the app. Will you try and list on a computer/laptop and see if that works @lisa1669!? Hopefully that will be the fix!
