So i just started listing in Ebay, mostly Video Games, i went to our local courier and they said in order to ship 1 game from Dubai to US, it would cost $50, how is this possible?

This is the US board............so we don't use Dubai Post office......   but it doesn't sound right................lol,,,,,,,,,if a cd costs that much, how could you mail anything of any weight?

What currency is that $50 in -  AED or USD?

I used the Emirates Post Group online calculator, and a 224 gram, 15x20 cm package costs $47 AED to mail to the USA, which translates to ~ $13 USD. 

That is much cheaper than the ~ $23 USD it would cost to send it by first class package from the USA to Dubai.
