how to remove the Ebay opening screen message

eBay sees that you are an occasional seller and if you want to sell in the future, you will need to connect a checking account to your eBay account in order to be paid for your future sales. 

If you are not going to list items on eBay, you can ignore the reminder. Read through the reminder. There may be a way to decline it and thus, stop seeing it.

So in the Ebay Universe you sign up or you will get the message until the hell freezes over.

Nope, we are actually exempt as we are a contract alcohol seller on ebay.   The law says that the person that holds the liquor license has to be 100% in control of the payments, so we are exempt.   We got lucky, the law was on our side!   I suspect that people that are not exempt have already been shut down for the most part.
