Call you credit card company and stop payment. The credit card company
will most likely be much easier than trying to deal with ebay and ebay
is not one to fight on behalf of the sellers so you will most likely
prevail.
And with the IRS getting a new infusion of agents, the gig economy and
people who sell on sites like ebay are going to be low hanging fruit for
audits.
Ebay can do this because people don't band together and take them to
task. Everyone complains here then puts their heads back down and
continues to take it. Its like the "30 day" return policy. If the
