I have a facility where we manufacture certain hand made items. Our inventory is virtually unlimited as we can have continuous production. How can i list and ell on ebay?

Set up a seller account and list the items.

Just starting out, you'll only be able to list a few items a month.

Enter a quantity and when it goes down, add more to the quantity.

You would want to use the Out Of Stock option so the listing stays live if you run out of stock before updating.

That fact that you manufacture your products and have unlimited inventory is a totally moot point.

You list and sell just like any other seller selling any other product, just set the quantity high.

My question is, is it okay to be a manufacturer of an item, and sell brand new products. Also leading into, is it possible to find wholesale buyers on ebay , such as gift shops, beach shops, to supply in wholesale quantities. They could get better prices than if buying from our reps who call on their stores, and also selling as a distributor to ebay stores, for reselling. It is mostly oriented to tourist industry.

You might be able to get in touch with support and request it under special circumstances. But the limits go up pretty quick as you make sales so it'll probably be something you won't have to be concerned about after a month or two.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.

Wouldn't you list and sell exactly the same way as any other seller on eBay?

Since it's been awhile since you sold last, would suggest you make sure you re-read the information for sellers and be sure you're set up with Managed Payments if you're not already.

Certainly OK to sell new items......finding wholesale buyers is going to be hard, perhaps......if you try to do a "contact me for quantities" statement in a listing ebay is going to think you are trying to cut them out of the sale...... and you could get in heaps of trouble. You could do the listings with quantity discounts.... Perfectly ok AFTER the sale to put wholesale info in a package. Also, I'd think twice about being in competition with your customers ON ebay......but that kind of decision could be made after you sell stuff...

Then you are in competition with thousands of sellers from Sri Lanka and other countries in South Asia. Have you done some research of Completed Listings for items like yours? That's where you must start, in order to assess the market here for what you hope to sell.

And, yes, you can list individual items or you can list wholesale lots or you can list both.

Just like you would any other item on eBay. Create a listing and set a high quantity.
