Hi,
A buyer has opened an item not received case although it shows the book was delivered. I'm having a dickens of a time trying to copy the shipping number . It won't paste into the appropriate section. Any suggestions?

They changed the way that works now, I've found. Once it's marked delivered, the tracking number is there and grayed out, so you can't change it. Just wait until you can ask eBay to step in, and/or send a message to the customer explaining that it shows delivered and they should check with family, neighbors, etc, to see if they just missed it or it was mis-delivered. It's out of your hands, but you can still provide some good customer service to stave off any anger they may have.

Beyond the enter # issue................... What I do in situations such as this is the message the buyer showing my "online label record" showing that the item was mailed to the address that they provided. The image shows what the item was, the tracking #, and their address.

I think I figured it out. There was a spot down below to add an additional tracking number so I typed in the original number double checking several times to be sure it was correct. Upon clicking continue, it read, "
Thanks! We’ll let the buyer know that you updated tracking details for this item. You can also take another action in the meantime. (which was to refund or to send a message)
