Re: how does one get in touch with a real person

The key is that what was once known as the Call Center pre pandemic is totally different today.  The Call Center was not brought back after the pandemic slowed down.  Ebay still allowed them to work from home or a call center in a different country.

The staff on Twitter and Facebook are actually employed by Ebay which is why they are typically more knowledgeable and more responsive to issues as they come up.

Good one, Mike 😄

Seems like Facebbok for business is outsourced as well now, same awful attitude and no desire to solve any issue.

No it isn't.

You pay rent to eBay?

Store fees, same as rent.

Surely this OP isn't paying for a store. 😶

Glad I saved you!!!  LOL

I'm not sure where the other poster got that info.  But unless something has changed recently, they are all still employees of Ebay and much better trained on the policies and rules.
