Did you mean:

how do I message a buyer who bid on my item? I only know his username.

I have an item for sale in an auction. I had a bid. I contacted an ebay agent and the agent said I have to wait until the end of the auction to accept the bid. Then the bid disappeared. An ebay agent then said he could find no evidence there had ever been a bid. I went back in my internet search history and found the page with the username of the bidder.

I contacted another agent and she said she was sorry that happened, that I could have accepted the offer, and there was nothing that could be done. So I am out $1050! No other bids.

So how do I contact the person who bid if I know his username? I don't see a way to send a message or search a buyer list.

Thanks.

This is my first time selling an item, so am not sure if I did everything correctly. Just learning! 🙂

I'm sorry, but Auctions have been around for 200 years. It's NOT hard to 'understand' an auction. When you listed the item, you decided HOW MANY days it would last- this, in NO WAY would mean that you can just 'accept' a bid midway through the timeline and just 'take it'.
