So hey everyone!
in david's (for thse who familiar with it) course he mention that is crucial to have low handling time.
the problem is with Home Depot or any other source is that:
i had an order and made the purchase right away but Home Depot said it will be process only after several business days (not 2 as i mentioned in my policy) well... of course HD does not resposible of my policy but my question is:
How can i promise and keep up with my handling time that i specified in my eBay policy ? it is not right away that HD or any other Source ships the products so that means i dont have tracking #..... please help ?

I've never heard of David so I did a search "Udemy course David" on Google. The first line that showed up was "David does an awesome job teaching this system and makes it really easy to follow. Plus he is very active in the discussion board and always answers any questions you have. " He teaches how to dropship.

Same thing you were told before. Order from them and have the items shipped to YOU. Inspect the items, THEN list them. That way YOU have control over shipping and integrity of the item. Do NOT dropship.

I truly wish all new sellers would experiment with a few items around the house to get the feel of how things work before jumping in too far. Why am I getting the feeling david has a get rich quick and easy course and may never have sold online himself and he is the only one getting rich.
Based on the OP's responses, I don't think common sense or research would matter. He seems to be ignoring any advice and only trying to get people to approve and support his chosen business model.

And from my personal experience with that vendor having items shipped to my home, I can guarantee you they are not reliable. I once placed an order with 12 items. I got 7 different shipments from different places scattered all over the country.

Why would anyone pay you 35 bucks more than they can buy that shop vac at HD ???
Stock photos, and MFG text, and you will get the same answers as last time.

I'm guessing you bought his most popular; "eBay Drop Shipping Guide with No Inventory - Work From Home" course for $10.99 for the next three days only. (normally $4.99).
If "david" is your business mentor, why haven't you asked him these questions? Or have you with no response?
Was it P.T. Barnum who said something about this?

There is a few things P.T. Barnum said that would apply, but I will go with one of the nicer quotes....
"No man has the right to succeed in life unless he understands his business, and no body can understand his business thoroughly unless he learns it by personal application and experience".
There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility. Inside of the dullest exterior there is a drama, a comedy and a tragedy.

if its not in your possession do not sell it...buy your own invetory then sell it...otherwise your buisness will not survive....seriously i see post after post about drop shippers having all sorts of issues...

What you will get:
1. On going support from me through the Udemy platform including chat discussions and private messages. One caveat: Im human and not a robot so response times may vary especially if we're in different times zones.
Have you contacted David through his platform for answers?
Just a thought. Hope that helps.

That is the way it should be done but many shy away from that because then THEY have to stock inventory and they have to pay shipping twice ( although in the case of HD most could pick up their inventory in store). If eBay is hanging their hat on dropshippers selling new items from common domestic suppliers then eBay has a very, very dismal future.

***The Problem*** isn't with Home Depot or any other source that you will be drop shipping from. ***The Problem*** is with drop shipping.
Are you beginning to understand now what others are hinting about as Another Problem... as in David's Udemy "course" Very well known? maybe by some. Very well RESPECTED? lol lol lol Perhaps you are beginning to understand a little bit more about some of the problems that somehow weren't addressed much in ***David's Udemy Course***
I'm sorry. But, yes.. the problem of shipping time you have run into is common, and it's only ONE of the problems you will run smack into if you continue in drop shipping.

Extend your handling time frame for shipping. When/If your sources issue you an online viewable tracking #, message your buyer ASAP and upload to ebay ASAP.
Congratulations on your sale, keep up the good work. ebay's competitors need more sellers like you and others listing here.

You missed the newest one:
Does David tell you what you are going to do when eBay automatically approves a return and gives the buyer a shipping label that sends the item back to HD and not to you?
Hmmmm? I didnt' think so.
