Re: getting started with ebay

You can start by reading "Start Selling" "All about listings" -

Watch the video Understanding Sellers Fees.

The Seller Center may be of help to you.

There is a lot of information out there for new sellers and many pitfalls too.

Read stuff on these boards and you will start getting the idea what not to do.

@teachl_34

Looking at your listing, you have a ways to go before trying to sell anything.

Not sure what a clown and coins have to do with James Taylor?

You can't ship them with Media Mail.

When you're able to list coins, you're going to need better photos then the one in your listing now.

Have a great day.

READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE!!! Don't just scan it with the notion that they're all the same. " You read one TOS you've read 100, nope not the same. Read it in its entirety, all 30+ pages then decide if you want to go thru with selling on this platform. Never sell anything you can't afford to lose.

Re: getting started with ebay

Delete that listing before someone buys it. You have a clown doll and many coins listed for $5.18 + shipping.

If you cancel a sale ebay will punish you and no amount of begging will change their mind.

None of those items can be shipped media mail.

Your pictures need a lot of work. They are very dark and some are blurry. Remember, buyers can't touch item before purchasing. I don't collect coins but I want to see a bright, clear picture.

Read up on the MBG (money back guarantee) for buyers. Buyers have the whip hand here.

You may want to offer buyer paid returns. If a buyer opens a case you will need to just refund or send a prepaid return shipping label to buyer. Don't allow ebay to handle the return. They will refund the buyer with your money and let them keep item. No returns does not mean no refunds.

Visit these boards often. There are many seasoned sellers willing to help.

Re: getting started with ebay

You must end that listing immediately. As it stands your whole inventory is available for $5.18 + $4.47 shipping. And it cannot be sent via Media Mail. Read up on selling on BAY as there is a lot of good info online.

Re: getting started with ebay

PLEASE cancel that listing as quickly as you can.  Is there a reason you started listing BEFORE learning how it works?
