Every Time I do a revision I get the following warning with a red exclamation mark.
"There was a problem adding or updating promoted listings. Update this listing to try again.
The update does still work."
Is the real problem that I just flat refuse to do promoted listings and ebay would really, really, really like everyone to use promoted listings?
I talked to a ebay rep one time who called and let them try to convince me to do promoted listings when they explained to me that they would most effective on my best selling listings I thought that yes they would be most effective for ebay, not so much for me.
Are you trying to end the promotions? You can’t do it by revising your listings.
You need to go to your Marketing tab in your Seller Hub. In the marketing tab drop down menu select advertising dashboard, next click the drop down menu to find end. Then click end. It will take a few minutes to end the promoted listings from your listings.
Same problem here on EVERY new listing. Can't make them Promoted! How stupid for eBay to deny me adding a percentage that makes them $$$!!! I add the percentage, but it doesn't take effect. I get an error message to try again, but it still doesn't work.
