Because when they last updated the boards, it was not possible to integrate the ebay header into the new board format.  No one likes it..  You can go to Ebay Help and get to the header that way.......

Re: frustrating format

When I come to the message board it opens in a new tab so getting back to 'my ebay' is one click away by using the original tab.  As long as I have fewer than a dozen or so pages open it's really quick.

Re: frustrating format

Are you referring to the Community discussion board format?

I might be misunderstanding what you're looking for, but on the desktop version, there's a link to "My eBay" on the dropdown menu under your avatar at the upper righthand corner.

Clicking on the word "ebay" at the top left takes you to ebay.com, the buying/selling platform.
