Yes I have and no it isnt. How long has it been since the last scan? If USPS considers it lost then you cannot file an intercept request - but if not too much time has gone by then you can file the request on-line and you are only billed if they successfully intercept it and return it to you.

Yup, they aren't particularly excited about honoring claims, but I did have a recent experience that ended well.
My point is that taking action proactively as the sender can sometimes get the action you need.

EBAY will always side with the Buyer, never the seller,
You are wrong.
In INR cases with tracking showing delivery, the seller WILL win every time. And if there's an error in which ebay mistakenly decides in favor of the buyer, an appeal can reverse that decision. EVERY TIME!

So you DID have tracking!!
Had you told us that sooner, we could have and would have advised you to open a missing package search. In my experience, that usually shakes the package loose from wherever it's stuck and tracking starts showing movement again.

@albertabrightalberta My experience too, USPS Missing Mail piece claim was consistent with shaking packages loose in about 2 days during Covid ...

If you take the time to read enough on The Community you will know that eBay does not always side with Buyers ... sure they do it a lot and many members here would agree with that but the phrase "never the Seller" just simply isn't true. In literary terms they call that a "gross exaggeration" ...
As to not being able to understand the explanation provided in my previous post I can't help you there but suffice it to say it is accurate information ...

"Why are you calling doug_5857 "karen". Everyone here are volunteers and we are trying to help you. So far, the only 'karen" that I see here is you. Don't offend people that are trying to help you."

"thanks for your input karen,,,"
On eBay's Selling Community Page
A person using the name "doug"
And a person using a name related to the types of products he sells
Are referred to dismissively as "karen" . . . .
By a person using the name "diddle."
What a world.

have you ever tried to file a claim with usps,,,???????its horrific,,
For lost packages it's a piece of cake and the refund from the USPS comes pretty quickly. I have filed two claims for lost items in the last year.
For damage during shipping that is a different matter and yes it becomes rather complex since USPS wants to see the item and the original packing.

Which words are giving you the most difficulty? We can help explain them further.
Basically he is telling you that you can get the Item Not Received deadline extended up to 4 days if you phone in to request it. You would need to give us more details on the INR that you lost in order for us to figure out what went wrong. When Ebay denied the INR protection what did they tell you?
I suspect there is more to this story than what we are getting.

and..i have taken off any items i had on ebay,,,,dont need their hassle,,they only protect the buyer never the seller,,,
Given your current outlook on things that is probably the best move you could have made.
