ebay for business Facebook merge

Did ebay business for facebook merge with their main ebay facebook page?

I tried messaging the business for facebook and got this message

Hey there, thank you for reaching out to us! We’ve recently merged pages to our main eBay Facebook Page. Please reach out to us via the help and contact page (http://spkl.io/61844hxrO) or through our main eBay Facebook page (http://spkl.io/61854hxrP) and we’ll be happy to assist you!

If so, I wonder if this will affect the level of their customer service.

If they merged staff as well as the Facebook entities, then things should be about the same, with the For Business folks handling one set of transactions and the plain old eBay folks handling the other.

Now... if the merger was to consolidated and reduce costs, then there will definitely be a difference in the level of support, and likely not in a good way.

@iamalwaysright  Yes, This was announced a while ago, and I think they  actually merged the two only recently. We were assured that we would still be able to get answers from the Team.

Ah, so I guess that explains why they never answered me and just left me on read a few weeks ago. Brilliant CS. Always 10/10 with ebay. You'd think they could've at least told me to follow up over there, instead of just straight up ignoring me.

It looks like they have deleted the whole Ebay For Business Facebook page. There were some good information posts on there. To date I'm not impressed with the Ebay Facebook page we are now supposed to use.

I heard that the business facebook version was good. This isn't.

Yep, that's what I have saved too.  Notably, only the Instagram one is marked specifically for sellers, the others are for both sellers and buyers alike.
