eBays service metrics summed up in one message

So a day or two I receive a message from a stating that my price is OUTRAGEOUS (refer to 1st (FIRST) image posted) and the buyer clearly states this is the 6th (SIXTH) (3+3=6) (3X2=6) time they have BOUGHT the item expecting it  to fix their vehicle. Not once, not twice, not three times but SIX times.

 

So my question is how many buyers on here fell victim to "DOESN'T WORK / DEFECTIVE" return case resulting in higher final value fees?

 

Buyer error is NOT OUR FAULT yet we are getting punished for it.

 

So nice.

The only thing I see in the screenshot is "BLOCK ME BLOCK ME BLOCK ME"

sounds like someone has exxxxxxcellent blocking techniques.... but really .... the facials truly tell the story ... lol have found myself doing that sometimes too.

but the switch does fit and replace. the vehicle owner should have the chip reader in the vehicle already. replacing the switch and key only means HE also has to reprogram the vehicle to accept the new key. pretty costly.

come to think of it, year or 2 ago i think i had a similar involving a mercedes and replacement central air lock vacumn pump. the buyer (a shop mechanic) acknowledged in the return he started that the pump did in fact work all the locks and such as it was supposed to. but the vehicle anti-theft system would not recognize it and start since it was not programmed into the security features. the star system would not accept it and told him to take it to the dealer for reprogramming (which he did and it worked and started beautifully after. long story short he started a return for item doesn't work. it took me several phone calls and statements from several mercedes service departments, but i finally got ebay to overturn the return because the pump itself did work both before and after reprogramming. and the reprogramming was not part of the pumps function. i had a hilariously difficult time with ebay's cs and appeals (as usual). but the mechanic who installed it worked in a euro car service center and was aware enough to begin with that switching the pumps required reprogramming since he attempted the reprogramming with the star program mercedes has.
