I see a lot of threads about how bad Cassini is or isn't for searching eBay
Last night I listed two unusual items
A Rotor for Ingersoll Rand 1" Impact Wrench and a pair of hammers for the same wrench
These are just parts but I priced them to sell
They sold 8 hours after listing them!
My buyer seemed to have no problem finding these in the eBay hay stack of air tool parts. . .

If you have something someone wants at a price they can't refuse you can consider it SOLD
The set of Hammers can be found on Google for $250, I let the set go for $50, I paid $5 for them.
Everyone WINS on eBay. . .
Actually, I think you came in toward the end of the pack but I guess it depends on how you define winning. If the set was going for $250 on Google, why didn't you price yours at 100$ 150$ 175? To me it seems you missed out on more profit.

z - what did yhou do!!! Open the door to start another throttling thread!!! I agree with some that have posted that our current search engine falls short.
Search is one of the biggest problem areas with Ebay that I have because we don't know one minute to the next what keyword are being accessed. Depending on what search words you enter and how you position them - I get back varied results and often results that don't contain any of the words I've searched for - meanwhile I find exactly what I searched for under Results with fewer matching words - and that title contains every search word in the search box. Cassini is far from perfect and I did like the old search engine way better.
I get the better search results with Google vs. Bing and many of the others so Google is my go to. I don't believe people are throttled but I do believe listings aren't being shown in Best Match that should because of the placement of the search words in the seller's titles.
