I am **bleep** livid!
I got a listing removed because it supposedly went against eBays No Adults policy. Thing is, the item in question WASN"T an adult book! Yet I am banned from listing and my items have been removed from eBay's search, totally screwing me and my sales.
I need to "talk" to someone at eBay about this **bleep**. Any suggestions?

The listing violates the eBay nudity policy as it is written. I don't see any need to look any further for a reason why it was removed.
The eBay policy is not about how offensive something is. This item meets eBay's definition of nudity, as stated in their policy.

Hi @krayz
I have been reading and answering questions in the eBay Community for over 15 years. I would take @lacemaker3 opinion over an eBay CS rep’s 99.9% of the time.
The bottom line is that eBay had to do away with its Adult Only Category when it switched to Managed Payments. Since that time, there has been enormous inconsistencies among reps as to what types of ‘adult’ items are currently banned.
Once an item has been pulled for the first time … it almost definitely will be pulled again and again until the seller is permanently restricted from selling … even if a CS rep appears to have cleared up the problem. It’s just not worth taking the chance IMHO. 🙂

As written before:
There is no nudity in or on this comic.
It's just on their secret, non-public banned list.
Maybe there was nudity in it at a different issue, which lead it to be banned.

That is needed to prevent circumventing "eBays" policies. If published................. it would be "worked around".
I do not find the cover offensive, but I am not eBay, so what I think does not matter. TV is more offensive than that cover.

I understand your point. I described to you what has been reported to 'happen' on eBay ... and NOT what 'should happen'.
Believe it or not ... 'nudity' has more than one definition. Sellers simply cannot rely on every CS rep (confronted with the decision of whether or not to remove a reported listing) defining nudity in the same way.
Once a listing is pulled for the first time ... it's practically impossible getting it off a bot's radar. But if you want to take the time and risk to prove it to yourself ... have at it. [I've got neither a dog nor nipple in this hunt.]

My response was about the photos ''siamjane8'' talk about.

"Once a listing has been pulled before..."
You are assuming here. My listings that were pulled before were not Belladonna ones.

Okay, but the point is that the violation (as they judged it) is on your record, not necessarily tied to the exact title that was removed. Even if the next violation is for a different title, I believe it will be seen as incrementing your violation count overall (looking back 12 months if not more).

I wasn’t assuming Belladonna was pulled before. I was merely explaining what happens once a listing has been pulled the first time … even if it was pulled by mistake.
I was talking about likely ‘future’ actions if you list it again.

I asked about that, and the rep refused to commit to a timeframe. It sounds like whomever is punishing me can go back as far as they want, to see if I am relisting something they said no to. Not the most reassuring answer.
It's largely irrelevant, as I am taking a break from all of eBay's **bleep** and explore some other options. Maybe I'll come back next year

I'm having the same issue......BUT, I can see that a lot of other sellers have the same book listed.
I don't understand. I just need a new platform to sell on.

Belladonna, the series from Avatar Comics, often has not only full on sexual intercourse in the interior pages, but the female characters are often depicted urinating on the enemies they defeat. That is probably why the title itself is considered a no-go by eBay in general. It's also likely as others have suggested, that someone reported your listing, but the others just haven't been reported/caught yet. It is unusual how many full-on adults only comics are listed in the regular comic section, but that has gone on since well before eBay did away with the Adults Only category.
As a former brick & mortar comic retailer, Avatar Comics were the worst to stock, because we never knew if we were going to get in trouble for the blatant pornography and excessive violence or fetish content in their titles. They also patented the oh-so-clever trick of "here's the story where everyone is dressed, now the second half of the book will be the *exact same story* with every character completely nude". Talk about a cheap thrill. 🙄 (And think how much money they saved on recycling the art twice!) We eventually made them special-order only, and refused to stock shelf copies because every issue was a stressful surprise.

I see you're still here, with no gap in sales between the time of this post, in July, and today. Glad everything worked out for you.
