I think I clicked on the best answer by mistake and I can't type in anymore on the previous thread. I will summarize what I mentioned on the previous thread to continue the disscussion:
"Pretty much what the tittle says. Anyone got any ideas what might be my course of action?
This is just absolutely unbelievable. They are refunding the items without returning the items. Laptops that were bought and sold with our personal effort, besides the funds being held by eBay, they are refunding the buyers without letting them return the items."
Also here is a couple of pictures, to show more what it shows a normal return vs the problem I had.

I believe you can still post to it anyway. Selecting a best answer does not close the discussion. Did you ever check to see if the mysteriously refunded items were shipped to a freight forwarder address as you were asked previously?
What was the message you received from eBay when the cases were closed in favor of the buyer?

Sorry, this happened to you, but you're not the first. This is a constant scam that eBay either does not care about or does not know how to fix it. I would think if they worked with USPS, they could figure something out.
Electronics, currency, collector cards, high fashion items, and others are scammers dream on the internet. I live in what I would say a very populated area, but no one wants to pick-up. Not like I'm out in the middle of nowhere.
I have some of my items in these categories as pick-up only (pay then after inspection & approval) to avoid this scam of returning nothing, but tracking shows delivered and the buyer keeps my item and gets their money back.
Best wishes in the future.

ebay has a policy to lean towards the side of the buyer. The exception is when that buyer has a pattern and history of reported fraud and complaints. Moreover, ebay monitors the communication between buyer and seller. And sometimes, ebay will side with the seller if their statements are not consistent, the pictures they have sent don't match the ebay auction, or a history of complaints. They can see all of this internally. So its important to say something if this happens.

You have free returns...buyer pays for return shipping...but item not as described you pay for the returns.
Are you sending an eBay shipping label for returns?
And you are shipping from Florida....that's a major hub for "freight forward" to other countries from Florida.
Might be a return label problem and someone else can answer it better.

The 2nd one does not show it was shipped, doesn't show it was received by you and doesn't show the buyer was refunded...only that the buyer 'opened a case' days after 'starting a return.
Not sure if you are aware, but when a buyer returns something, if it gets lost, YOU the SELLER STILL get to 'refund the buyer' and will be told by ebay
"item should have been delivered by now, you need to 'refund' the buyer"
Did you get that?

In your last thread, members went over some steps you can take if the return shows as delivered in the tracking within the return case and eBay refunded without your receiving the item.

Read all the replies in part I & II. Lots of good useful information and unfortunately these occurrences happen frequently. I don’t have much sympathy for you though given your feedback record. There definitely are reasons that eBay is buyer centric in its decisions

The first one doesn't show eBay stepping in.
The second one is lacking without case details and doesn't show any refund.
