eBay and PayPal fees

If the proceeds from the sale is going into your PayPal account you are not in managed payments yet. The buyer's payment can include sales tax.  PayPal collects 2.9% to 3.9% of their total payment (item, shipping and sales tax) plus $0.30 per transaction. You will owe PayPal for the shipping label if you made the label on eBay.

eBay sends you an invoice for the ffv on the item cost when the item sells. They send an invoice for the ffv on the shipping cost when the buyer pays.

@kyzich0

You pay fee's to 2 different companies.

Pay Pal takes their fee's when the buyer pays.

Ebay bills you monthly for their fee's.

Have a great day.

Paypal is 2.9% + 30c

The rest not received is probably sales tax which is automatically sent to ebay to be sent to the state for you........

Thanks for your information. But it seems like I'm paying twice. I sold a watch for $325.  Paypal deducted $14.65 .  Now ebay invoices me 49.47 which on their detailed invoice, includes the 14.65 PayPal fee. But hasn't PayPal already deducted that?  If I pay 49.47 I'm actually paying 64.12.  Tell me where I'm wrong.  It seems I've paid twice , once on PayPal and once again on Ebay for PayPal fees.

You are replying to a necro thread. Sellers are no longer paid through Paypal.
