Hi All,
I was wondering if I can open an eBay store for certain items and list certain items in the store and also keep certain items outside the store, or have two stores? My thought is to open one that specializes in selling certain items and brand it as such. At the moment I sell a wide variety of items. I'd like to keep things not related to the theme of my store separate from it. Thanks

Now you’ve got me thinking of more things on this. Several other reasons I like having a branded store:
* I know what ALL my followers are interested in: the items in my category
* Over time I’ve gotten to know “who” my customers are, their patterns, trends; and they know what they can expect from me. I’ve gained a lot of insight from them and some I would even say have evolved into friendships
* At least half, if not more, of my sales are from followers
I know everyone’s situation is different, but for me, I was spread too thin trying to sell across multiple categories. Boxes different, policies different, fee structures different, all too much for me; I wasn’t having fun, ha! This is a hobby/income supplement for me all rolled together. Don’t know if any of this helps, but you posted such a great scenario and got me thinking about it!

But wait, there’s more lol! (Now you’ve got me going!) Another reason I like having a branded store. A lot of my followers will just watch items or visit the store to get ideas or because they just like looking through the listings because they’re pretty or for inspiration or whatever. I love that. They’ll ask me questions or make comments or share and it makes the store a category destination in a way. I couldn’t do that as well, I don’t think, if I had auto parts and packing tape and iPhone cases all mixed in. But, again, this is a hobby/supplement for me. Okay, I think that’s all I got finally, ha! Just really love the scenario; glad you posted it; made me think about it!
