Anybody have these issues?
1. I purchased an item from a seller. Me being a seller I know how the process is. I bought a coffee maker from a seller. My account address is a P.O. Box the seller shipped the item to the physical address of the post office not to include the P.O. Box number. “Fun fact” “UPS” doesn’t ship to post office box. Right off the bat the seller sent me a tracking number via message. Which means he didn’t use eBay or a secondary ship service to purchase his label. The item gets to the physical address of the post office and gets return to sender since they don’t accept UPS TO BEGIN with. On the items tracking the item looks like I rejected the item but the shipping Carrier did. After he gave me a partial refund he relished the item again and then took it down.
also he sent me a picture of the label which doesn’t have the P.O Box number on it.
The issue is he said he would send it again. He didn’t he said it would cost too much and he would throw it away. I request a refund and he gives me a partial refund of $55.64 the total was $104.73 he didn’t give me a full refund and eBay has declined my full refund multiple times.
The seller/EBay owes me $49.09. eBay’s money back guarantee is trash. Employees are constantly lying or not doing what they say. Their investigation team only looks at items surface level
I was told that ebay would give my money back I waited 7-10 Buisness day nothing was done. This is regarding multiple calls of +14 calls.
This issue has been on going for one month I paid for the item on may 29 2023
there has been no resolution and eBay needs to pay up and train their employees correctly

I used my eBay funds to purchases it so not through a card good idea though
Never really understood why sellers buy into the spendable funds program/project it benefits nobody but eBay. First they earn interest while your funds sit in escrow, second eBay doesn't have to pay the CC merchant fees when you purchase an item but more importantly I get 5% cash back on everything I purchase on my CC.

Hi there,
I would recommend that you redact the addresses from your post.

Open an INR case with eBay and note that the seller failed to use the complete address you have associated with your eBay account.

Key words are "refused package"....that really hurts. Too bad the seller wouldn't step up to giving you the full refund for his mistake.
I would not do a credit card dispute here..."refused package" is labeled on the package. You would lose with the bank and be charged a $20.00 fee from them.

@12345jamesstamps OP stated they used their eBay funds to pay, not a cc

Contact eBay via their social media sites with a private message:
AND-OR
Great customer service on both

Sellers are charged $20 fee when they lose a payment dispute. Buyers are not.

How does the bank know you are a seller or buyer on eBay?

As a seller I put a post office on my account so nobody knows my physical address. And if he only shipped using UPS it would have prompted me seller doesn’t ship to P.O. Box like the picture I posted

The buyer is the one using the credit card and the one challenging the charge.
The buyer is the banks customer. The seller is not.

The seller would have had to specify that they did not ship to PO Boxes. The system doesn’t do that automatically. Some courier services such as smart post do deliver to P.O. Boxes.
The seller should have know that they couldn’t ship to a po box but if the shipping method was shown as ups, you should have known as well.

If the seller states he ships by UPS.
And you knew that UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. (I believe they want a signature and the PO will not sign for you.)
Then you gave the seller an Undeliverable address.
Well.
Sellers are not required to ship to Undeliverable addresses, and if the item is refused, they are not required to refund the buyer who gave them an Undeliverable address.
Exclusions and special coverage when the buyer doesn't receive an item ...
...The buyer provided an invalid or incorrect address at checkout
Not covered

@12345jamesstamps the bank does not charge that fee, eBay does, to sellers

I had one a while back and on my bank statement it was from a bank in another country...not eBay.
Once the bank gets involved...eBay can't do anything but charge you.
The charge comes from a bank and eBay collects it and deducts it from your account.

If the seller wins the case there is no charge.
