Anybody have these issues?
1. I purchased an item from a seller. Me being a seller I know how the process is. I bought a coffee maker from a seller. My account address is a P.O. Box the seller shipped the item to the physical address of the post office not to include the P.O. Box number. “Fun fact” “UPS” doesn’t ship to post office box. Right off the bat the seller sent me a tracking number via message. Which means he didn’t use eBay or a secondary ship service to purchase his label. The item gets to the physical address of the post office and gets return to sender since they don’t accept UPS TO BEGIN with. On the items tracking the item looks like I rejected the item but the shipping Carrier did. After he gave me a partial refund he relished the item again and then took it down.
also he sent me a picture of the label which doesn’t have the P.O Box number on it.
The issue is he said he would send it again. He didn’t he said it would cost too much and he would throw it away. I request a refund and he gives me a partial refund of $55.64 the total was $104.73 he didn’t give me a full refund and eBay has declined my full refund multiple times.
The seller/EBay owes me $49.09. eBay’s money back guarantee is trash. Employees are constantly lying or not doing what they say. Their investigation team only looks at items surface level
I was told that ebay would give my money back I waited 7-10 Buisness day nothing was done. This is regarding multiple calls of +14 calls.
This issue has been on going for one month I paid for the item on may 29 2023
there has been no resolution and eBay needs to pay up and train their employees correctly

At this point I would stop wasting time with the seller and eBay and instead just file a chargeback with your credit card. That will get their attention.

I’m on my phone … so cannot check the listing to see what shipping options were available.
IF you chose a USPS option … then the seller messed up by shipping to a PO Box via UPS … and I would phone your credit card company and request a refund for the remaining amount.
IF you selected UPS … then you messed up … and I think need to eat the loss of original shipping.

Yea, I would do a charge back. You have all the proof you need to show you never recieved the item and seller failed to reship to the proper address.

The listing offered only UPS shipping:
So the buyer should have either provided their street address, or check on whether their Post Office offers the service known as "Street addressing":

I'm sorry, but I think this detail from your picture explains the issue.
The package was delivered to your shipping address, but was refused. That means that it will not be eligible for the eBay Money Back Guarantee. The seller was not required to refund anything, but it sounds like they voluntarily refunded the payment, less their expenses that had lost because of they tried to ship it.
I'm sorry, I doubt that this is what you wanted to hear.

I posted a picture of what it looks like when somebody has their setting to UPS only that picture didn’t prompt for me

Ebay customer service will either lie or they really don't know what to do but will say anything to get you off the phone so that they can handle the next caller. The seller doesn't want to give you the shipping back becuase he lost it but he lost it because he was an idiot to not include the po box #. Why don't you talk to the Ebay on Facebook . They are very knowledgeable, speak English fluently. Perhaps they might OK a courtesy refund.
Go to facebook, find ebay and CLICK MESSAGE EBAY (MESSENGER). When you write through Message, the conversation will be completely private. None of your friends/family will know that you have contacted Ebay. Tell them exactly what happened and tell them that you have a photo proving that the seller sent it wrong. Ask for your money.
Next, set up Ebay to ALWAYS PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD . This gives you a third bite of the apple incase of a problem. Paying with Ebay funds is the worse way that anyone can pay for an item. Only folks with no credit cards due to poor credit should pay this way since they can NOT get a charge card.
Send your funds immediately to your bank and then send the funds immediately to the credit card if you are one of those folks that does not want to owe money to a credit card. Don't let ebay get their grubby hands on your hard earned money. Use a credit card (0r paypal) so that ebay can also pay fees to the credit card companies. When you pay, make sure that the payment is always charged to the credit card.
I have my paypal set up to only pull funds from the credit card. Ebay never touches my funds. I set up Ebay shipping too to pull from a credit card.
Goodluck. Come back here and tell us if you were granted the rest of the refund. I don't know if the Ebay facebook group has the ability to force the seller to refund the balance but I know that they can give you a courtesy refund.

The seller shipped it to the r physical address of the post office. On my account it has the P.O. Box number first. Google the address and you will see

Don't give up the battle
As a last resort you can file a complaint on the better business bureau site, the ebay responder will likely be more knowledgeable & better able to address the issue

Thanks for the reply being a seller I don’t mind using my funds but I get what you mean. I have a few cards on file and will definitely do it next time.

If you have items shipped to a PO Box, you can't purchase items that are shipped UPS without this happening. Lesson learned for next time - add a physical address to your eBay account and use that for those shipments. The seller also messed up, though - they shouldn't have shipped it to any address other than the one provided, regardless of your request. They should have cancelled the sale as soon as they saw a PO Box on a UPS shipment, and let you know that you would need to use a physical address if you wish to purchase it again.
As a side note, your post office may offer street addressing. Mine does, and I never use the PO Box address - only the street address. For instance, 123 HWY 45, Box 6789, Anytown, XY, 01234.

Sounds like a good idea!
