eBay Open - Major Props eBay

I was not able to attend last years due to technical issues. 😞

I have to give credit where credit is due. The new format is great. The platform had no issues or connectivity problems. 

I just attended the main sessions and a breakout session. 

The main session with all the information on how the open would work was very informative and provided information on the available features. 

The breakout session was very well organized. The presenter was clearly a subject matter expert, explained things in detail and was very easy to understand. The use cases were well presented with images and easy to understand descriptions.

I and many others had lots of questions. The response from eBay was outstanding.  The questions were tracked in one area and answered in real time in another area that was easy to navigate and see the answers.  Some were even answered within the session live. I might not have liked the answers lol but every question was answered during the session.

Props on the organization and the eBay folks in the wings that where answering the questions in a timely manner. 

Looking forward to more tomorrow.

Glad you got it............we had nothing but trouble...........slow loading/interrupts/ fuzzy screens on examples. They put in alot of work,but was disappointing for both of us.  Perhaps our connection..... really disappointed tho........

Yes, I was disappointed as well. 
I thought the program on "Getting Paid on eBay" would be helpful and explain a lot of things.  Apparently I did not realize it was intended for a focus audience with a lot more experience and understanding of high finance in the digital age.   Higher than my own low-volume experience, selling stuff from storage and inheritance.  

There was a question that was addressed near the end, something along the lines of "Why can't I get paid immediately, like I did with PayPal?"  The answer was, like, well, major credit cards and our aim is to get money into your banks as soon as possible.  

And the "category" session was quite useless, in my opinion.  

I've written down a couple of sessions for Thursday and Friday, and I may log in, but based on today, I do not expect much.

These discussion boards are much, much better for getting true info out to eBay users.
