I find it annoying that some people here like to post what-if's and false information regarding the coronavirus situation here. Don't we have anything better to do? The USPS is not going to shut down, only by Executive order or National Holiday. These boards were made to assist and inform eBay users of real issues and problems in buying and selling on eBay. I find it also interesting that these boards have so many "trolls". People that post complaining about multiple purchases, poor sales or USPS delivery problems for their 30+ last packages when if you check their profile they have had 1 sale or purchase in the past 12 months. Some replies have noted it outing these obvious false claims. When we find these posts the best thing to do is not feed into their posts. Why a few people do this is beyond me. Just my 2 cents worth. Have a great day! The world is not ending. And in a hundred years it ain't gonna matter. Enough with the coronavirus false claims.

You went out dressed like that in public?
No, though there's so much to love about that guy's getup (the zebra stripes on one lapel with the leopard spots on the other just for starters) but I had boots with tall heels and soles like that and lost the big rubber heel on one - I was walking by an eatery with outdoor seating, one minute I'm strolling, the next minute the earth fell out from under me and people were pointing down at the pavement and looking astonished. It wasn't as dramatic as that guy - I just picked up the rubber block laying there and spent the rest of the day with the heel in my pocket and walking on my toe on that side.

Those boards are like the dead letter office to me, especially CAFE. I have seen very active threads moved to the CAFE and they die off, so that must be where they move threads that they want to kill for one reason or another. I personally don't like them moving them. If I am not interested in participating in a topic I just don't enter it! What is so difficult about that?

My buyer purchased an expensive St. Patricks Day item that I have not shipped yet.
They want to cancel, claiming that they have the Corona Virus, have to self quarantine for 14 days or else go to the hospital. They have to cancel their St. Patrick's Day party and do not want to hold on to the item they bought from me until next year.
Would you cancel?
Would you file a non-paying-bidder case?
Should Paypal refund me the fees for refunds or cancellations that they have more recently decided to keep, since this is a national emergency?
I would cancel, and no don't hold it until next year, that's just silly. Unfortunately with the Paypal regs you are stuck with the fees, but hopefully the item wasn't too expensive.
I don't get lots of cancellations, but I get some... they buy and pay, then they tell me they purchased by mistake and can they cancel. It's really annoying when it was that $125 coin he made an offer on, which was auto accepted and he paid. He didn't read the description that said a coin from the 1800s that shiny had been dipped (like it would still look like that after over 100 years), and thus changed his mind about the purchase. I only said it was dipped because it "looked dipped". I don't know if it was dipped or not, but in my experience when I see old shiny things, they are usually dipped.

Yes. I really think it's more likely an elaborately disguised Buyer Remorse, but whatever. This sale is not going to happen.

I guess we just have different opinions and that is what makes this board interesting!
