I find it annoying that some people here like to post what-if's and false information regarding the coronavirus situation here. Don't we have anything better to do? The USPS is not going to shut down, only by Executive order or National Holiday. These boards were made to assist and inform eBay users of real issues and problems in buying and selling on eBay. I find it also interesting that these boards have so many "trolls". People that post complaining about multiple purchases, poor sales or USPS delivery problems for their 30+ last packages when if you check their profile they have had 1 sale or purchase in the past 12 months. Some replies have noted it outing these obvious false claims. When we find these posts the best thing to do is not feed into their posts. Why a few people do this is beyond me. Just my 2 cents worth. Have a great day! The world is not ending. And in a hundred years it ain't gonna matter. Enough with the coronavirus false claims.

@oldwestcoins Your 2 cents is worth at least a buck ... people tend to be either positive or negative on different topics ... some I suspect come here to slam eBay because they actually sell for competitive venues, truth is stranger then fiction. They may be the ones that create the post then seldom reply to defend all the opposing views that come along.
However, the Discussion board is just that, discussions with people wanting to share both positive and negative experiences, there is a need to be able to post an opinion, especially during stressful times. It's an outlet in many ways. I have found I agree with some members on one topic but not on another ... that's the nature of this beast. However, I look at this as business and NOT personal ... those who engage in quasi personal attacks against other members are doing a disservice to themselves and the Community ... but then that is their choice and they have every right to do so ...

Its been explained to you repeatedly that people use posting IDs here so you may not see their sales activity.

And yet you start another one because there are to many?

What makes your post any better than the other complaint posts?

Hi,
I agree on what you wrote but also disagree at the same time.
Here is my case. I always ship with tracking which means air mail option. Due to corona virus I will not risk my own health and health of my family just to go to post office (only one open due to restrictions) to send with tracking and air mail. So I use postbox to send orders to avoid direct contact with many people.
And since I ship with prepaid postage label, only option is to send with regular post which means much longer delivery time (and yes I changed delivery time in listing already). That means that my shipments are not marked as tracked delivery and my ebay seller status will not be TOP RATED as I have absolutely no option to send every day and to send with tracking without risking my own health (which I will not do!).
So yes Corona is effecting eBay and term of sales if you want it or not and eBay should take some action.

The moderators should move the Corona threads to either:
The eBay Café discussion board.
https://community.ebay.com/t5/eBay-Cafe/bd-p/25200000018
or else The Soapbox discussion board.

The post didn't say the USPS was shutting down.
The post asked what you would do if the USPS shut down.
So what's the problem?

If you don't like corona virus posts i have some handy advice for you.
1) Don't click on them.
2) Don't read them.
3) Don't create your own.
