eBay Mag Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering what are your guys' thoughts on eBay mag?

Tried using it but couldn't seem to get the shipping to automatically calculate the price and it seemed like I had to manually enter the cost of shipping for each item for each region???

Obviously eBay Mag is a good thing, I hear people try to discredit it but putting all of your items translated worldwide is pretty valuable.

Anyone had any success with it and could maybe give me a bit more understanding on the shipping aspect of it?

Thanks everyone,
Cameron

eBay Mag Thoughts?

I've used it.  **bleep** (foo•baar) sums up my experience with eBaymag.

1. All countries that you activate your listings on count towards your listing total; some eBay sites charge per listing and your "free" listings won't apply.  I can't remember all so'll you need to research, but I think eBay.it used to be one that charged.

2. All listings show up in the currency of which eBay site you listed on.  In other words, your app and seller hub will be a mess.

3. Convoluted learning curve due to poor programming and integration.

4. If you have 5000 active listings and decide to list on 8 other eBay sites, your new listing total is the sum of all eBay sites.

5.  If you're a frequent "end and sell similar" eBayer, I advise against eBaymag, especially with all these eBay glitches.  eBay rolls out updates and beta tests on its user base.  The central tenet of database management, and in the medical world, (AI integration+Database), you never beta test on actual, live population, instead find identical or similar model.

This was my experience, but maybe eBaymag is now streamlined and intuitive compared to 3-4 years ago or so.

This (above) (especially Item 3) smells an awful lot like WebInterpret under another name. Is there any connection? This seems to be covering the same ground with the same problematic results.

Thank you very much for the extensive reply!

This seems to still be the case.

I think I will hold off on using it for now.

@a_c_green

I was thinking the same thing....that webinterpret was bought by eBay and renamed since the 'brand' got such a bad rep when introduced here.  But NO they are different entities, with webinterpret offering additional syncing and integration for a "price".
