" I'm done & telling everyone I know eBay sucks"
Im sure Ebay is quaking in their boots with that threat, especially with your vast selling experience here.

eBay can't protect you from criminals, you need to protect yourself.

That answer is so generic lame & irrelevant. eBay always says even from a guaranteed item it'll be another 3 7 10 days the seller has to answer etc ...etc etc then a survey how did we do why ask? I just keep getting screwed by eBay when I follow the rules who I need to protect myself from is eBay I need to return to brick & mortar

That's only while you're still considered to be a new seller. Once you have a steady turnover going, your sales will be released as soon as the very next day. Before then, eBay is going to be a little more cautious, so that if things go sideways with the buyer, eBay will be more likely to still have a hold on the cash that needs to be refunded.
Right now you're a new seller who just sold a $110 Disney watch, so eBay wants to be sure that the buyer is happy with the sale before releasing the funds.

I dont understand why you say this. You have 1 sale in 6 months and 3 total. You show 121 in feedback in almost 5 yrs. I sold 121 in just the last 3 months and received every penny of my funds in 3 days or less.

Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

"how long is "forever"?
80s power ballad!"
Ahem...country. "Forever is as far as I'll go."

Both buyers and sellers are leaving.

Learned long time ago and really fast when I was was a commission sales person always saved some funds for rainy days as they will come - low sales activity, unexpected return/refunds, the washer machine goes on the fritz etc..
When I first started selling on eBay I kept xx $ from my profits in a reserve - aka hold and never touched it. As I sold more items just added more to the reserve. Folks get into trouble when the start spending all they get in their cookie jar or max out the credit cards

And new buyers and sellers are signing up. This has been going on for all the years Ebay has existed.
