disappearing descriptions after listing

Over the last 2 days I have been having trouble with my descriptions disappearing after submitting my listings. I have to make sure to copy and paste the description into a word processor, select revise the listing, and then copy and paste it back into the listing. I use Google Chrome. Someone else had the same problem several months ago with no solution. I always have to view my listed items to make sure the descriptions are there.

I'm having the same exact problem, but I'm copying and pasting from Word.  I'm using a desktop and using Firefox as my web browser.  I'll revise it once and then after posting the revision all the formatting/spacing is incorrect in the description, thus forcing another revision.  Following this thread to see if there are any solutions.

Prior the sales that you sold last week, have you ever sold anything prior? Did you sign up for managed payments?  You may have limitations on how many items you can list, as if you haven't sold anything in the last 90 days you are viewed as a new seller.  New seller have limits, so it may be why you're unable to add anything else.  I see 8 items up for sale.  You may only be limited to 10 monthly.   You can ask for your limits to be increased:

Thank you.  These are the first items I have sold (I'm selling most of my mother's estate items).  I do have managed payments and they have done the first transfer today.  According to their data =>  "Currently, you've listed or sold 11 items of your 700 monthly limit. You can list or sell up to $29,555.02 more to reach your $35,000.00 monthly limit."  I'm not sure why it happens and to be honest it could have happened on the first few items I listed, but I just didn't notice since I hadn't done a sell listing before.   I don't see any other restrictions or limitations on my account due to being a new seller.  I'll just keep playing around with it and see what happens.

We have had this account for years. My selling limit is 1000 items per month with a $25,000 limit. I am not close to that. My items seem to list well, but after I submit my listings and view the descriptions, the descriptions that I typed in are gone with just the entered titles in the descriptions. I then have to revise the listings, and copy back in the descriptions that I was careful to put in the word processor.

I see 23 listings on your site...how many are missing? This may be some type of glitch,  there's a lot of them here on Ebay.  Try to list maybe later and see if you can complete a listing.

This has been in multiple threads, and someone mentioned that it's been a problem for 4 years.  Don't know about that.  I will note that eBay has only been running for about 25 years and it takes time to develop something as intricate as a text box.

I finally abandoned the default "Quick Lister" and went to the "New Lister".  That doesn't dump descriptions.  See this thread:

I am currently having the same issue on the app, i use the app to list sometimes and when I write the description and go into the shipping details or item details when i got back the description is gone and the title is in place. been going on for two weeks like if i list 20 items it will happen like 3 or 4 times. listing is time consuming as is but this is not helping some descriptions take a while to make for some items. I sell collectibles so all my descriptions are different.
