For the last two days I've had to revise items and add the description again because my description was not shown the first time. Is eBay aware of the problem?

There have been other reports of this. I am sure eBay is aware of the problem.

Sorry you are dealing with the disappearing description issue. I know many other sellers are having the same problem. Are you using the APP or Quick Listing Tool? Those listing tools tend to have more more technical issues.
eBay has been made aware of the problem, but more reports to customer service about this issue is a good idea.
In the meantime you may wish to try the New Listing Tool on a computer, if you are not already using it.
Look on the upper right of your draft ( not an active listing) on a PC for a gear or dots to see if you have the option to change listing tools.

Sign up for Seller Hub while working from your computer to create your listing using the new listing tool.
To access Seller Hub:
1. Go to https://www.ebay.com/sh/landing
2. Click Start Using Seller Hub
3. Open your Draft here: https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/drafts
4 To create a new listing go to your active listings page:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active and click the blue Create listing button near the top, right-hand side of the page.

There was a similar issue last year and some sellers were able to resolve the issue by disabling various add-ons including Ad Block, Duckduckgo, and a grammar-checking add-on called Language Tool. There may be other undocumented add-ons that may cause an issue when listing or editing listings as well. If they use a spell checker add-on, try disabling that as well. They could also try listing using another browser that has no add-ons installed.

2. Request a call back or live chat from the left hand side of the linked page.
eBay does not have a phone number you can call directly at this time as the agents are still working from home.
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back
If you are located outside of the US or Canada then you will need to use chat or social media.
2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
