changed shipping label print AGAIN????

oh come on EBAY PLEASE!!!!

   so you changed the shipping label print screen once again, please just leave well enough alone already!!!

  the "print custom text on label" is not defaulting and not using the custom identifier field we have entered, and I rely upon that field being printed...

   it was so nice having that automatically printed on the label for me, now I have to type in in...  I could give a rat's but about tha auction number, that means nothing to me... I want my custom field auto filled back into that section please!!!

  oh, and don't get me started on how I had to reformat everything AGAIN because EBAY decides to change the labels are printed again....  screw that baloney leave it alone already!!!

It is wonderful when eBay makes changes nobody asked for.  Those programmers gotta justify their jobs somehow.  Definitely not by doing bug fixes.

I brought this up on another thread, but also, when you're on the shipping label page and you just printed out a label, then under "what do you want to do next?"   If you click on "leave feedback"...

BEFORE it used to take you directly to leave feedback for the item you just printed out the label for. 

NOW it takes you to a list of items you haven't left feedback for yet and you have to choose the item you want to leave feedback for.

Mine has changed twice recently, so I'm not going to get too used to this one.  I also have a different one on each of my selling IDs, which makes it more difficult to go fast.  I find it strange that this newest version prints out a label with no mention now of ebay at the top.

That was annoying when the saved message suddenly went away. That saved me some time. Now I have the type it all in again over and over and over.

The new one isn't even a finished product yet.  They are forcing us to beta test it at our expense.

Need my custom sku for inventory..... why would you remove this from the print shipping label section..... major slowdown.... no reason to even have the custom sku if i cant locate it for inventory when something sells....

The old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" no longer applies in this day and age. Corporate America is sitting around creating work and jobs that are not needed. I bet half of these people have no clue what to do each day, they create work for the sake of looking busy.

This is about to make me stop leaving feedback altogether.  I think leaving buyer feedback is a waste of time anyway, and with this change, it is now a bigger waste of time.

as I'm not on managed payments yet (4 more weeks), I usually buy/print my shipping from PayPal (you get same discounted shipping rates). Today I decided to try it through Ebay...ended up canceling the effort and jumping over to PP to buy the shipping--the Ebay version was really cumbersome and took more time just to buy simple 1st class postage. I'm not familiar with the previous version, but this current one isn't very effective.  Unfortunately, I guess I'll lose that PayPal option once I enter the world of MP.
