HI All, can you guys help me how to get it resolved? My account is being restricted and my fund in the account is hold. I have sent so many emails and chatbot messages to ask for root cause and solution. Howevever, I got ignored and was always provided a standard answer. I am seeking a help from you guys. They said the below reasons caused my account restricted permanently. What should I do? any suggestion? The red highlighted sentences is what I have replied to the ebay agent.
A bad buyer experience (“BBE”) will occur but is not limited to the following scenarios:
(a) Buyer filed for a dispute under “item not received”; Buyer doesn't filed a dispute and received Item
(b) Buyer filed for a dispute under “Item Not as Described”; Buyer doesn't filed a dispute
(c) Buyer returned the item and gave a return reason that indicates “Item Not as Described”; Buyer doesn't return the item even though there is 30 days guaranteed refund in my refund policy.
(d) Seller canceled the transaction because you no longer had the item, or the item was never shipped, and the buyer's money was returned; I never cancel any transaction with the payment received order.
(e) Buyer left a Detailed Seller Rating score of 1, 2, or 3 for “Item as Described”; or
(f) Buyer left Neutral or Negative feedback for you. Yes, Buyer left a negative feedback once without any details. Does only one cause to freeze and restrict my account?

It is eBay's practice to not give details about restrictions and permanent suspensions. Their thinking is that details would provide clues as to how to circumvent their policies and their protocols.

And all I see under item description is describing your situation with your other suspended account, really?

And when Zippo complains. Zippo works hard to protect its brand, and eBay is notorious for fake Zippos.
I think OP is leg-pulling with that never-saw-such-a-thing-as-a-fake-Zippo comment.,
As an aside, I live not far from the Bradford, PA, home of Zippo Lighters and Case Knives and of the hugely entertaining Zippo/Case Museum, to which I often take out-of-state visitors.

@happyjaae wrote:actually, the support from HK is really bad. In the beginning, I sent a lot of email. They replied me a standard answer and said there is nothing to follow up and then no more response. No matter how many emails you sent to them.
No, I am using gmail account to login. Well, yes, I sometimes checked my account in starbucks. It was another question I asked ebay. They didn't say anyting about this. If yes, why it becomes permanently restricted and no solution to resume my acccount?
I started my selling in ebay since 2000 with my old account and accumlated 701 positive feedback without any negative and problem. It is a true bad experience with ebay.
You know when you became a super seller with 1000 products sold in a day. All of sudden, they banned you and hold your fund without reason and no appeal. How dictatorship they are?
@happyjaae When you use a public Hot Spot like Starbucks or others the risk is they use either a common IP address with multiple access points via their router and a Guest login or they have numerous IP addresses that get revolved through different customers as they come and go. If another account with restrictions uses that service and you did too then your accounts become "Associated" in eBay's eyes and if one account gets a suspension or restriction then ALL accounts will eventually get the same.
If you can't find anything else wrong and their messages don't give you details then this may be the issue.

Yes, it is why I am so angry about their support. What I look for is a reasonable root cause. If I am really against their policy, it is my fault and I can blame anyone. However, I don't get a making sense statement about my case.

well, it is not about the fake reason. If it is, customer should file a dispute and leave a comment to warn others. They are not stupid.

yes, it is why i am so disappointed on this kind of practice.

No, as i said I don't use my old account as the bank information is no longer available. I can still log into there and no restriction at all because no activity in the account.

As you keep saying, you do not know the reason. It is not just buyers who monitor for counterfeit goods on eBay.
And surely your take on matters is not that it's okay to sell fake goods because if the buyers figure out the stuff is fake, they can get their money back.

I wonder if your suspension is because of using 'replica' in the title of that listing you received the negative feedback on. I understand you are saying Zippo replicated the lighter based on a 1933 design, but all the bots see is 'replica',which is not allowed on Ebay.

Looking at one of the lighters, it says on the bottom of the lighter that it was made in the US, but your listing says it was made in Japan.

I have got the exact same thing. Been contacting customer support frequently. They keep giving me a time that they will get back to me and they keep telling me they need more time..

Here is how the OP's listing title reads:

I don't know how much you know about zippo? There is a Zippo Japan company which produces Zippo for Japan market.

Its original packing is called Replica. I should not change their name.
