Zoom feature on listing images???

the zoom feature on my listing images is not working now. it was just a couple of days ago. i can still click to enlarge though. i liked the zoom feature.

I have not payed attention to the zoom feature but that dime listing zoom is working just fine for me here in PA with chrome on my PC.  its working just the way it was intended for me

I do not know anything about reading code, however, is there possibly a clue to what is going on in my screenshot below?  I am noticing how small the rendered image size is compared to the intrinsic image size.

I just got off an eBay chat session, which usually is not helpful, but they did inform me that this is a current ongoing issue that users are experiencing, so hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I am seeing the same issue, no hover to zoom, using Edge, Firefox, and Chrome while using Windows 10.  

Yes, my Dell All In One is touch screen enabled.

Thanks @mcdougle4248, I'm one of the dev team members from ebay, there is an issue with zoom on touch devices, we are fixing it now, will have the fix out in a day or so. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I just wanted to tag you to let you know that some members that are NOT using touch-enabled devices are also reporting that there is no hover-to-zoom feature, only click to enlarge.

Any update on a fix?

I joined the VI test group and primarily use Win10+Firefox (v 114.0.1 as of today).

Zoom worked for me prior to joining the test. It worked with the new code during the test. When the test ended, zoom on Win10+Firefox disappeared, and also disappeared when using Firefox incognito (not logged in).

I also don't see zoom when logged into a different account on Win10+Firefox Incognito.

I do see zoom when logged into this eBay account on these systems:

Win 10 + Edge

Mac + Safari

Mac + Brave

These are all desktop (all the same computer with different personalities). No touch.

The last time I cleared cache and cookies on Win10+Firefox was two days ago. The problem existed both prior to, and after, clearing the browser data.

I have not cleared cache on any of the other three browsers.

In another thread, @lisa5768 , who was also in the test group, reports seeing zoom on Win10+Firefox, which contradicts my experience.  So this is not entirely a browser issue, or perhaps there is some difference in system characteristics or in how test subjects were reverted.

I am now seeing hover to zoom enabled on my listings and on an item I checked that is on my watchlist.  There is not any text on the image displaying  "hover to zoom", only text displaying "click to enlarge".

Here is what I see when looking at an item on my watch list.  The appearance is also the same when viewing my listings.
