Hello,
I checked my feedback this morning and noticed a customer left the wrong feedback for the purchase they made with me. It's kinda funny but will the wrong feedback hurt my ratings in the long run? Or should I reply with "So sorry to hear about your bra! I hope you have fun making a quilt with your new book!"
thank you for your input!

@josie46d Buyers rarely read feedback anymore, they are looking for negatives only. Buyers are all in a rush these days, they want the lowest priced item shipped overnight. No one will actually read that comment except yourself so there is no way for it to 'harm' you. Frankly anyone who does read it will find it humorous at most.
Replying to it would only draw attention to it. You may as well place twinkling lights around it if you chose to reply. Concentrate on selling more and it will quickly fall to your second page, where literally it will never be seen again. Best of luck to you....

You can request buyer to withdraw their feedback since in essence it will indeed hurt you, and not the original seller. As for the buyers claim, they indeed can submit for a return claim through the regular, but, that is not the issue at hand
As for your response, while funny, you have no idea how they will take. But, I will certainly make it a point to mention that buyer submitted wrong feedback.

Might be a joke to em: what other feedback have they left for others??

Since it's positive, and clearly doesn't match the listing title, I don't see how it would harm the seller. AFAIK there's no way for a buyer to withdraw feedback.
I would not reply to it, since that will only draw attention to the buyer's (mistaken) complaint.

Since it's a Poisitive there's no way to withdraw it. If it really bothers you, a Chat with a rep might get it removed since it's a false positive and clearly not related to anything you sold. Personally, I'd leave it alone and laugh every time I saw it. (since I'd be the only person seeing it anyway.)

I wouldn't worry about it (it's actually kind of funny) - it's not even relevant to anything - people aren't supposed to give product reviews for FB, anyway. It's tempting to leave a humorous response but I'd leave it alone.

if you are trying to draw attention to a minor mistake then by all means respond to it
other wise its much ado about nothing
please dont forget that the feedback leaver can also respond to your response

Thanks @chapeau-noir !
I had a couple of funny responses saved in draft, it would have been fun but one never knows how the response would be taken. Always better to play it safe.

Potential buyers will not look past the positive, they won't read the remark. It may hurt if you decide to sell bra's girdles and foundations in the future but likely not.

Thanks @lamber9347
I enjoy reading your posts! In my previous career of teaching, feedback was that double edge sword. It is moving to the down the web page. Honestly, I can't imagine selling undergarments online...lol

I don't see the neg feedback........so may be on a different account. Had it been on this one with only 54 feedback......I would have tried to get it removed.......because it lowers your % from 100, which is what buyers see on every listing.... Whether they look to see what the neg is about is problematic.......
agree it's hilarious and can think of a number of responses........
