Well I live in Phoenix and never see snow...so if it DID snow, I'd probably be outside making snowman and making snow angels...

We made it out today to ship some things.
Lucky because we didn't expect the 5/6" of snow we got.
Took me 2 hours to drive about 15 miles yesterday.
Rain & sleet later. That will be a real mess. Most local government & schools closed.
Postal delivery not a good marker for shipping.
We live 5 house from a Main Street. Sometimes the mail does not get delivered down our unplowed street. For days!!
Now, just blocks away, there are power outages, trees down. Those people won't be able to go anywhere or print postage. And remember, this was not expected, so sellers would not get a warning to go to post office ahead. And a small area. Think ebay would be forgiving?
remember, ebay people are on the West Coast. They get real understanding about mudslide & wild fires. Snow, sleet, ice, not so much. Everyone has a different world view,
When we sell, we have a 3 day handling time. For earliest sold, we wait until last day, so we can ship all sold those days at one time.
Selling on Ebay is risky in the best of times.
We say, like others, full speed ahead D... The torpedoes!
List!!

Where do you live? This latest system has been in the news for at least three days now. I've been hearing about it that long, and I live in Mississippi.

I agree about the mail. Neither rain, nor snow will keep them from their appointed rounds. Yea, right. In my area it does not take much for them to not complete the route.

It never snows in my town, so I'm able to list anytime. It doesn't matter if they are "off" or not. They might be at work, at the movies, etc. These people have busy lives and don't have time to shop at brick and mortar stores.

Well maybe...
"When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius"

USPS Unofficial motto: "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"
Ha ha, anyone remember this?

My bad. I sort of looked at the storm part and not the region.
We live in Kentucky. Along the Ohio River.
It was 70 Monday.
The forecast was for rain, maybe 2" snow.
Our weather is very hard to predict.especially the form of rain/snow/sleet.
Many weather forecasters come here for the opportunity. We can have dramatic changes in weather.
We got 8" of snow. Late yesterday afternoon, it was in the low 40s, bright sun& melting water in sheets.
20s last night, really slick roads this am. Now bright sun & all you can hear outside is dripping.
The northeast isn't my region, but on the weather they still say Nor'easter.
Different regions have different perspectives!!
