I look at a lot of items, but not interested in buying them.

@pigeonpicker I occasionally get items like that but not that many views ... they are usually items that have been a round for a while. When items get a high number of views I raise the price ...
You can End the item and then use the Sell Similar feature to create a brand new listing of that item and raise the price then if you want.

Is it over priced? Need more/better pix? Clear-er description?
What does the past 30 days on e-Bay show as the average selling price of that item?
All else fails, raise your price!

It could mean that your image and Title are attracting interest but once buyers go to the listing page something there is a turn off.
Is it one of your postcards? Perhaps somebody posted on pinterest or Google Images and people who have no intention of purchasing are clicking in for a look.
I have a few long running listings with thousands of views but no sales, I also have a lot of sales from old listings that have very few views.
It could also be a counter glitch which is common everywhere, I have one item in particular that every time I end it and then list again a month later it ALWAYS generates over a thousand views in the first few days (obviously not real views).

Because nobody wants it. As a seller- you need to analyze the listing and the product to figure out why nobody wants it.
- Market saturated
- Price too high
- Bad photos
- Conflicting info in listing description
- Missing info in listing description
- Unpopular size or color
- Item damaged or dirty
The possible reasons are endless. We can't even speculate about the reason your listing isn't selling without knowing which listing it is.

Which item is it? If we could take a look at it, perhaps someone might have an answer.

Is it an item that could be causing it to show up in searches that wouldn't apply to what the buyer is looking for?
For instance, say it's a PS4 plush or shirt. It having PS4 in the title or even an item specific might cause it to pop up in searches for the console.

@lepke1979 The OP is referring to Views which means members are actually clicking on the item to view it, not just having it returned in search ...

I know. But I can see people clicking on it just out of curiosity (or accident) even if it wasn't what they were actually looking for.

I see nothing at all that you have listed that would attract 5,000 views. In fact, I would be surprised if you had more than 30. Are you sure you are not talking about "impressions" ?

It's my congrats grad rubber duck. Over 4,800 views. 3 Watchers. I have the only one on eBay. Been for sale for a year. I have plenty of listings with thousands of views.

And people cherry picked my store and left me with the leftovers. Haven't been out sourcing for fresh inventory in a while.

So if you added a couple of pictures so people could actually see what the item is.......might sell it....just my opinion.

Like a car wreck on the Freeway; everybody wants to look.
