Why the Sudden Drop in Sales?

Last week I noticed that eBay had updated their system because they displayed a bubble notice saying that they had added a new feature and I experienced a problem printing labels. While discussing label issue with customer support, it became obvious that I wasn’t the only one experiencing issues.

My sales have dropped considerably since that day. HAVE YOU BEEN LOSING SALES? Did eBay change their algorithm again?

Yes, sales are down considerably - adding new items also, nothing helps anymore

Every time eBay announces a Seller Update sells fall off a cliff. They must be updating the website.  It's very annoying it will come back eventually. Might be couple days, might be a couple weeks you never know. Super bowl Sunday was my worst day in about 6 months

Every board on every site that I sell on has the same complaint about lack of sales.      The business downstairs sells exclusively on Amazon and they are twiddling their thumbs.

Pretty much everyone is experiencing a drop in sales.  On Friday, I was getting all kinds of weird messages from ebay like we can not find your listings which was very comforting.  During the course of the day other weird messages were popping up.  Ebay has messed with item specifics in many categories and it has really messed with the search.  The ebay search engine is a mess.  The programmers who work for ebay must be really sub par as they never seem to fix anything but they do a great job of messing things up.
