I have a buyer attempting to purchase one of my items, but she's getting both of these error messages, the most puzzling of which being the one about me being unable to accept funds.
I've confirmed that the buyer is using a PayPal account, as she should be, and she's recently been able to purchase from other buyers with that account.
I have no idea what about my listing could be causing these error messages.

After a few days of looking for an answer, the time on my listing ran out. I relisted it without changing any of the attributes, and, for some reason, the buyer was able to purchase the new listing.
So at least it's not a problem anymore. I'm still curious about what caused it.
That happened to one of my Buyers a few months ago. She kept trying to purchase some items over and over again. Called CS and they couldn't figure out what the problem was either. We eventually called it a night, and the Buyer retried again in the morning and was successful making the purchase immediately. Glitches are like witches, sometimes they just disappear into the night. Sometimes.

This is a long shot...but
ebay does system maintenance late thursday night into early Friday morning.
Some times the code changes causes unexpected glitches.
A few years back they crashed the entire message system, it took days to fix.

It could simply be a shopping cart glitch.
If she is just buying one item, have her buy directly from the fixed price, immediate payment required listing, or use the BIN.

Glad it worked out for you and that you did not lose a sale because of it.
As for how it happened, possibly a glitch?

Since this topic is from a few months ago, at least that makes some sense.
Nothing else about this topic makes any sense though, other than serving as a reminder about what a top notch platform / venue this has become...

OMG.....I just realized, once you pointed it out, that this is a really old thread!! I didn't even glance at the date because it was on the first page of the board and I thought it was a new topic.
