I cleared my cookies, but it's doing it again... It asks for my password when I navigate on the site. I can see my active listings and orders and stuff, but my payments screen is pooched and I have gotten now a dozen emails telling me that a new device is using my account (but it's me, I just gave it my password two minutes ago.. I'm not using a new device, it's the same device and I've put my password in over 25 times now in the past hour).
Help please?

If you clear your cookies, it WILL ask you to log in again. When you do it drops a cookie and that is how they know your computer is logged in.

Try changing browsers. Every time you clear cookies and history, this will happen. It happens to me all the time once I clear. Browsers and eBay continue to update their security which also may be causing this. I know my local banks are driving me nuts with this also. Good luck!

The site is experiencing numerous issues with shipping labels, display of payments info, and log-in issues. I tagged eBay reps for assistance on this thread:

I didn't see this thread or I would have tag in this instead of creating another..
Same hear.. Nothing I have done helped...

Been happening with me for over a week. I kept having to select the Castles in a picture and it replied they are all correct but then the next page I would have to log back in. This would happen multiple times before I could log in. Happen three times last night while trying to create a listing.
There must be an upgrade in progress.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
I finished what I was doing on the site, so I probably won't be putting in my password again today... unless of course they start asking it while I'm looking up items on their site (research for things I'm listing, but I use listing software, so I won't have issues doing new listings).
I do like this forum that I can have a big issue and in 10 minutes people jump in to tell me it's not me, it's the site. When things don't work properly it gives me anxiety, so I do like knowing I'm not the only one who sees this stuff.

Just started happening to me as well this afternoon!. every time i hit enter to move on to the next item specific, it would kick me out and make me log in again to finish the listing!!! Until after about 15 times, then it locked me out of my account saying that it detected a bot!.
Finally called it in to support and they admitted site issues all week kicking people off thinking they are bots.
How is this even possible that a company can have so many site issues? day in and day out.

I was just looking at my information on My eBay, the Seller Hub. There was a pop up message about a new layout. Not it is a whole different page then a hour ago. It was not that long ago that the Seller Hub was new. Now they changing it again. This update could have something to do with the Passwords issue also?
I mostly quit doing anything significant for months because I could not keep up with the constant changes. I have been doing ok for a couple of weeks and now the changes start again.

Updates screw my log in…
I have to delete the app, then reload. That fixes my issue.
(I hate the app. I usually use a browser link)

That's terrible, and pretty similar to what happened to me. I was in payments looking at transactions, I'd hit view, to view payment details, need to put in password. Then go to the Sales Order from that page, need to put in password again. Like 25 times.
I'm very glad it did not detect a bot (the account seems fine right now, but I haven't been doing stuff on it tonight). Sometimes when I put my password in, it would go back to the login screen and get me to do it again. I have 11 messages from eBay about a "new device" connecting to their site (from my location in the details). I only have a laptop, a tablet, and a phone, that's all that connects to the site. It was really annoying, I thought I was getting sales when I kept seeing new emails showing up, and then I find out they're all messages from eBay letting me know a new device has logged in.

Understand exactly how you feel. I have walked away serval times for months at a time. I give eBay plenty of time to get all their updates completed. eBay is just a hobby from me so I can afford to shut it down anytime I want.
It is funny though that with my hobby that after I have walk away for a while when I come back my junk has increased in value.
