the app has gotten better making it easier to list but **bleep** I'm not getting no views, and everytime I list something eBay is trying to get me to pay 99 cent to boost my post . ALSO the last thing that you use to put up would show first when you go to selling now you can hardly find it, I swear every time these ppl update their apps they get worse and stuff don't work , bottom line never update or they should let you go back to previous update if you don't like the new update,eBay did improve on selling at the post office I like using the qcr code that's awesome

$650? $450? I simply input the keywords, click 'buy it now' because I'm not waiting for an auction, and then sort by 'lowest price first' so I'm not wasting any time to see a lower price and I'm also not spending more than I need to. Been doing that since BIN was invented here.

My sort is "highest price first" because that pushes the garbage listings down, the incorrectly described, the cheap knockoffs, the used when I want new (not always wanted).
And it is faster for me to zip down to my price point by few dozen than to wade through a swamp of hundreds of trash listings.
It also makes the "low price/high shipping" listings very obvious.

Ebay turned to garbage over a decade ago when John Donahoe took over. I've been selling on this venue for years. Prior to that, sell thru rates were **bleep** near 100% on auctions and Buy it Now was 100% Sell thru rate if you got the right merchandise. That was before they started messing with AI and the cassini search engine. All the "Improvements" this site has done over the years has resulted in my sell thru rate dropping from 100% meaning if I bought 100 units of something, I knew all 100 would sell. It dropped from 100% down to less than 10%, more realistically my conversion rate on ebay is around 4%. My personal website that I used the "Field of dreams" approach on outperforms ebay. What is the Field of Dreams approach? If you build it, they will come. Search engine spiders crawled my site when I used proper SEO, now my non advertised site gets more traffic and a better Sell Thru rate than a paid for store on ebay.
For comparison, this is how bad ebay got.
For the month of December, we are 5 days from the cutoff of last day shipments, and that's even iffy now that USPS is so much slower than it was in years past. In the last 31 days, so this isn't even including only december, it goes back half way into november. I've made $185.75. On Etsy, I sell the exact same products, I had one day where I sold $600 in sales, and most days outside of that were at least $80 to $100 a day. Ebay is absolutely a husk of it's former self. The site has been completely ruined by the do gooders that keep making changes.
