I have about 1200 Olympic pins (no duplicates) that was part of my personal collection of pins.. I had over 80,000 when I started selling them off 3 years ago... I haven't listed any of the Olympic pins..
Make about 3 lots and do buy it now
One big lot buy it now
or individual auction starting at .99 with with a shipping cost
Just curious...I am leaning towards 1 big buy it now lot but I could maximize profit by individual auction for several weeks and what does not sell, do bundle lots

Man you should know that depends on how much money divided by the effort put forth to make it, and what your time and budget allow for, should tell you what to do. but if I was buying a lot of $400 pins, I'm looking for $0.50 cents each x 400

It really depends on your time and priorities.
Personally, I would list individually, as Fixed Price BIN (NOT auction). With that many, you must have a good idea of the values. Much more time consuming, but would bring more $ return.
I would probably relist, the unsold pins, several times. The right person might not have looked, at the right time.
If sales get too slow, you could list in lots, of similar pins.

From what you said you've sold 68,000 of them. I would think you would know better than anyone on these boards what to do. My suggestions:
Do not do auctions as they are not going to get enough bang for your buck. (1 bidder each auction)
Do not sell individually as it just is not worth all that time spent doing it.
Maybe sort by pins that are different but from the same year Olympics.
Sell in lots large enough to get at least $15 total with shipping from each lot.

Reason I thought about auctions on individuals, is Olympic pins usually sell quicker but for less money...
About 80% of my other pins are not as collectable as Olympic, so Buy it now is best for them..
I do have plenty of time to do the leg work of individual but I am just getting to a place where I am ready to just dump all my remaining pins just to get rid of them.. lol
Guess it's just me though... I dunno... I'll figure it out somehow.. Thanks Everyone..

Don't sell them individually for 99 cents auction (if you only get 1 bidder you will be lose money). EBAY seller fees based on (purchase price + shipping + sales tax) plus 30 cent handling charge. Could be additional fee if you "promote item" or "international fee" if customer lives in another country.

I would do lots. I personally don't like to list anything under $10. The time to photograph and list one item is not worth it for that amount of money.
Check terapeak. 150 2002 Salt Lake City Pins sold for $1225. 300 SLC pins sold for $600. 201 pins from the '60s and '70s sold for $600. The first listing given was an auction; the other two BIN. I'd either do lots as auctions to move them fast or set high prices for BIN lots if you don't mind waiting (at least pins are small!).
