It seems that every week or so we get a new email from eBay making changes which make it more difficult to list and sell items on eBay. Doesn't eBay already make enough money from us, the sellers, without adding extra restrictions, changes, requirements and payment calculation methods?
Managed payments seem to be great for eBay, but not for sellers. Sometimes, sales are 'processing' for days, without payment to the seller. Why does eBay get to keep money for sales for days before remitting to the seller?
The new selling format is difficult to navigate and understand. After complaints, it seems that eBay has added back some of the old seller view, but without some of the old navigational views and capabilities.
I have made a lot of money for eBay, but I feel like eBay doesn't value me.

They're already falling behind Amazon. They need to not do stupid stuff to make things worse for them. They will become obsolete if they don't straighten up.
I'm thinking maybe they're under new management(?) I don't know.
I sold 3 things on Auction yesterday but I'm still getting 'no payment'. I'm wondering if this is because the payments are taking days to process (these are my first sales with the new managed payment, so I'm thinking this is what the issue is) This is terrible! How can we ship fast if it takes days to process these payments?
eBay WILL lose out to Amazon if it doesn't fix this issue.

They lost to amazon YEARS AGO! Yet they still think its a contest. amazon vs ebay is as 1 sided as the Road Runner vs Wily E. Coyote.
What ebay SHOULD do is focus on its roots. As long as they have the fantasy of beating amazon it WILL get worse for sellers as that who ebay dumps its WHY AINT WE BEATING AMAZON YET, THE SELLERS MUST STILL BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG Problems on!

Ebay sellers make ebay what it is. Everything else they do is just a Special Olympics version of Amazon.

All the powers that be at Ebay care about is the stock price. The stock price has continued to rise, long term. As far as Ebay is concerned, end of discussion. What they don't realize is that it could be even higher if they paid a little attention to the sellers needs, & maybe the rise in the stock price would outpace inflation.

eBay is done valuing its sellers. If your buy it now doesn't sell, you're bombarded with notices to lower the price. Your fees? They've not only gone up under managed payments, but they now also railroad everyone into paying final value fees ON THE SALES TAXES BUYERS PAY. Your payment? You now wait for days to use the money, sometimes even weeks; they even have the temerity to say that if you need money in your PayPal account, you can wait for their payment to hit your account and then you can send money to PayPal. Yeah you ignorant cheap f****, we know that.
WE HATE YOUR PAYMENT SYSTEM. GIVE US OUR MONEY.
WE HATE THE EXTRA FEES. STOP STEALING MORE OF OUR MONEY.
What do you do when you don't feel valued in a relationship anymore? You break up.
Break up with eBay. Facebook Marketplace. Craigslist. OfferUp. You don't have PayPal protection any longer, so why not?

Ebay should look at amazon's stock price then cry a what could have been had they just spent BILLIONS on warehouses, inventory, employees & setting up their own delivery service!

Yes, they take days to 'process' the payments to you. I will receive my payment from eBay tomorrow (5/18) for items I sold on 5/13. You are expected to ship before receiving payment.

You are sooo right. I’ve been selling for over 20 years. They should know we’re also buyers. I’ve never seen another company try to screw their workers over the years than EBay. They want to screw and screw and screw until my profits are so small I need to stop. Many EBay seller like myself will stop selling. So EBay will really be screw screw screwing itself. Beware stockholders. EBay buyers and sellers know you’re the only ones that matter. Hope you’re happy to depress the lower and middle class again.
