Literally half the threads on here are people complaining about the seller hub and managed payments like it was something brand new and foisted upon sellers.
They completely ignore the already 100+ threads and have to make a new one for no reason.
Seller hub was announced in the eBay Fall update of...2015, over FIVE YEARS AGO. I have not used the previous iteration in over 3 years.

Managed payments was announced around November of 2018, nearly three years ago. Notifications get sent to sellers giving them ample time to register and switch over.
I'm surprised to STILL see threads on "shipping final value fees", FVF's on shipping were added in....2011.

I find it disheartening to read how many sellers perceive Seller Hub as the worst thing eBay has done to them. I know it has been one change after another on eBay the past year but give it a chance. I've been using Seller Hub for 2+ years and after a couple of days of acquainting myself with the various options and configuring my SH landing page to suit my business needs, I find it works better for me than the old classic view.
I legitimately wonder what sorts of jobs these people have had where they have never had to deal with changes to how they do things, be they new software systems, new physical technology, etc. Heck, my own B&M job got an entirely new software system to handle in-store pickup orders last year because the old one we'd been using couldn't handle the sheer volume of orders we were getting thanks to the pandemic. It was a pain at first to have to learn a whole new system, but everyone got used to it within a week and no one threw a tantrum or quit their job over it.

Some of you older folk can easily remember how Sears used to be "it". They were THE PLACE to buy something because of their gigantic selection and top notch customer service and return policies.

I remember the Sears catalog and its alternate use😏

You forgot that sellers haven't been able to leave negative feedback for buyers since 2008, yet people still come here shocked and ticked off when they discover this.

I tried to use eBay for that purpose...well not really, but I did drop the phone in the toilet while trying to snipe once

I think members who do this are the seller versions of buyers who don't read descriptions.

I think there are a number of people that believe if they add their voice to the conversation, that it will finally change everything that's happened before. And it doesn't matter to them how little sense that might make. I call it 'last-straw' syndrome.
If they can add their voice, vote, or 'last-straw' to the pile, it will finally equal the needed amount of public opinion that will forever change the world (or eBay). I think it's why social media is so popular. Everyone has an opinion & they can finally find someone else that will agree with them, that's what they always looked for. Validation.
While we're on the subject of things that have me flummoxed, why do some people fall in love with someone they've never met, who is in prison for being a serial killer?

Why do you think 1/2 the threads are about the deletion of the sellers page , or the managed payments ? Half the sellers think it sucks .. They don't like it ! Simple ! Insulting ' older folks ' that you think can't handle change is bull**bleep** .

They completely ignore the already 100+ threads and have to make a new one for no reason.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You think they have no reason, but they think they have a reason when they start a thread.
And they start a thread because they can.
You have started a thread because you can.
I think you had no reason to start it, but you thought you had a reason to start it.
So, it's ok for you, but not others?
I think it's funny when people start a thread, just to moan about others starting threads.
