Why did the Chicken Cross the Road?

His listings were easier to find!!! 🤔😐🙂😀😆😂🤣😂😅😊🙂😐

Once upon a 🕑. In a 🗾 far away, there lived a 👨‍🌾 who had so much 🌽 to 💲that there wasn't enough 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 to buy it all. He tried to 🤔 of a way his 🌽 could been 👀 by more 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦? Then one 🌄 he met a friend, :ebaylogocolorchange:. For a small  listing fee he could sell any thing from 🌽 to 🚽's and :ebaylogocolorchange: would take care of the rest! Soon sales and profits were 📉 and  the 💰 just kept rolling in! His 🌽 was reaching far lands everywhere, no one was hungry and  everyone left 😊. They all would have lived happily ever after if it were not for those meddling invest🤑r's.

So the 😊 didn't last long. Soon, 👨‍🌾's 🌽 sales weren't enough for :ebaylogocolorchange: so they needed to accommodate 🏭's with more than just 🌽 to sell! More sales meant more💲for them and would keep the evil invest🤑r's 🙂. Poor 👨‍🌾 no longer felt the :iloveebay: or security he once did when the the 🏭's took over :ebaylogocolorchange: and filled the space on 👨‍🌾's own listings too! 👨‍🌾 did all he could but couldn't keep up with the 🏭's sales or the cheaper prices from those other far away 🌍 places.

👨‍🌾went to his old pal :ebaylogocolorchange: to 🗣 for help but he was met only with 🙉 from his old friend. It was as if he no longer existed and he was no long a part of the once great thing they started together. This made 👨‍🌾 very ☹️. But it was the continued 📈 that made 👨‍🌾 feel 😡. And when 👨‍🌾 was no longer selling any 🌽at all, 👨‍🌾 couldn't understand why? So one day 👨‍🌾 decided to use :ebaylogocolorchange:'s own search engine to fix 👨‍🔧 any problems with his listing. 👨‍🌾 was 🙊 to eventually find his listing ⚰️ in a 🕳 on the very last page of his search! Why would his good friend :ebaylogocolorchange: put so many irrelevant things like 🎺☎️📀, even 🚽 on top of a search for 🌽? It made no sense?

If you were expecting a happy ending, I hate to disappoint. But at least now you know why the 🐤had to cross the road. I like to think after a 🐣 start else where the 👨‍🌾  and the 🐥 both found 😊 and sipping are 🍸together on a  🏖 somewhere in the 🗺!

Moral of the story is: If 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 can't 🙈 what your selling, 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 can't 💲 what your selling.

It's now 🕙 pm, do you know where your listing's are?

I assume there are on eBay. I'm printing shipping at the moment; I will have to check later.

Can't really read all this, since the emojis are so tiny. I don't know what you're trying to say

Re: Why did the Chicken Cross the Road?

I was just thinking that as well lol

It would have been way easier to read if the emojis were larger.

Why does Khoros feel the need to make them so teeny you can't really even tell what they are?

I wouldn't say way easier... on a desktop they appear the same size as the text. I wouldn't want emojis any bigger than that anyway, as they would then start to mess up the line spacing as well. I just skimmed the text and ignored the emojis. You can get the gist of the sentences without them.

It's also worth noting that the opening text shown as a preview on the main page of the Selling group doesn't include the emojis at all, making the writing even less coherent.

True that LOL

Speaking of which, I really wish Khoros wouldn't show images in the 'preview pane" as well, especially the HUGE ones some posters seem enamoured of.

Aaargh... I know what you mean: those big stupid unfunny attempts at memes.

As for images in an initial post, I agree that it would save a lot of space if the images weren't copied into the preview. After an initial post of mine with screenshots on it made a mess of the preview page that way, I made a mental note to leave them out of my initial posts in future, and instead just add them to a reply that would immediately follow my opening post. That worked much better.
