I am seeing empty stores, including my own, that definitely have products listed, but have a message saying “there is no inventory available in your location.” What does that mean? There are products listed, but they’re not showing. Several of us posted this in ask a mentor, but there is no place to respond over there, so trying here.

I have the latest iPad and the latest iPhone both on the same Wi-Fi network both signed into the same account and I only had this problem with my iPad never with my iPhone. I’ve tried updating the app updating the phone uninstalling and reinstalling the app ripping through the settings, changing locations from automatic to manually entering United States. I don’t have any VPNs or anything like that running and it’s driving me nuts I’m wondering if you ever found a solution to this and if so, if you could please share it with me now seeing all these other posts from other people going to the same thing I have come to the conclusion that it is not my device that it is Ebay something with the app on iPad cause when I use it on my browser it’s fine only when I use the iPad app.

It’s not an issue with your device, it’s an issue with the eBay app for iPad. Hopefully it’s fixed soon. You might want to report it to them if you haven’t yet. Maybe they’ll feel a bigger sense of urgency with the more reports they get.

When I first noticed it. I did call customer service and reported, but they convinced me that it was something with my device and I had a hard time arguing anything to the contrary it was only afterwards when I screwed around with all the settings did I realize that I could just use my browser and everything would work fine Which to me under mind their argument.
But now that I’m confident that I have an idea of what the problem is. I will call customer service because I know a lot of sellers depend on their Ebay stores for their livelihoods to some extent and a lot of people use iPads to surf. I almost never use my phone when I’m at home because I have a screen that’s 10 times bigger. Why would I.
So hopefully they will get this fixed and thank you for your response

I can't believe they tried to just blow you off with that "must be your device" thing. Not only is that an unacceptable answer to give even 1 buyer (without offering to help troubleshoot your device, to shop on THEIR platform), but if you're seeing a message that says 'not available' -that is their platform GENERATING that message, so it aint got jack snit to do with your device, and untold countless other buyers are seeing it too!
EDIT: As in, nothing wrong with your individual device, even if it is a problem linked to a specific device type.

Okay, it’s been 72 hours since CS told me the problem would be fixed in 48-72 hours and the problem is still not fixed. I will call again later today I guess. This is turning into a time-suck. They need to get this fixed already.
