I have been selling right along since January and now this week... absolutely no sales and very low views. Maybe they are giving up buying for LENT! Or is something wrong with EBAY"s System??? Any thoughts or maybe it is just me and my items..

My sales were up in February compared to January which was a good month for us...., and so far so good in March. Not sure if this helps or not, but consistent listing of items helps with sales, also cancelling and selling similar on items that are about to go thru the 30 days cycle can increase views. If you aren't listing, sales will dip.
Also, yes sometimes it is what we have for sale. I have tons of items that I have had listed for a year, 6 months... those will eventually sell or go into our yard sale in June. Good luck!

Do you promote listings?

I viewed your items, good era to sell in but I personally think your prices are a tad high.
Nothing really stood out to me but since I volunteered at a thrift shop for over 10 years I've seen it all come and go and I have that " mentality ".
Run a sale on your delightful Christmas cards, maybe that would spark some interest.

Anybody ever heard of income tax time?
A lot of potential buyers are more concerned about trying not to pull their hair out over filing and paying income taxes, rather than spending money at eBay. No matter what I'm selling, my sales dip a little every year at this time, then always pick up again in April and especially in May when IRS refunds come in... been that way for the last couple decades.
Couple that with the normal ups and downs of online commerce and politics, and you'll see the trends IMHO.
Cheers, Duffy

No I have never used promoted listings. Have considered it but haven't felt the need to give a greater percentage of my sales to eBay.

Just as an added note, I have been running multiple sales since December...many sales were generated and on March 2, all my sales ended and I have been busy DOING MY INCOME TAXES so have not had time to do any more sales.....so I guess the answer is to keep running promotions, (sales). NO I DO NOT PROMOTE ...I think giving EBAY 25-30% in fees is sufficient. I sold the same amt of items in 2024 as I did in 2023. No promoting at all. I sell the same type of items each year, Antiques, Children's Books, Vintage magazines & collectible paper items , greeting cards and jewelry. All vintage to antique, very little contemporary. So the sales just need to be continuous...

My theory is that most of these "reasons" for slow sales have more to do with the individual's preoccupations than actual reality. It's a big world out there with a great deal happening and retail has always been twitchy.

My sales are up within the past week. It's been great.
I attribute it to my having been lax about listing -- I'd gotten busy with other things.
Over the past two weeks I've been listing consistently, and when I do that I always see the results.

'Repeat buyers' have kept me going for sales.
I sent 4 items to watchers with 20% off...9 watchers in one item...nothing.
There are buyers out there...but these buyers want items for very cheap.

Yep, get it for cheap & ship it for free!

You might want to try ending and then re-listing some of your items, see if that generates some hits.
